Well, that's the problem. They pop off the leaderboard just as fast as the pop on to the leaderboard. I know more about Amy Olson than I did a year ago, but she put herself in contention several times. If Ally stays near the top for more than a day I'm sure we'll hear more about her.

Alison Lee was the #1 ranked amateur in the World in 2014-14. As a pro she was ranked as high as #23 in the World. She's had 11 top 10's. She played on 3 Junior Solheim Cup teams, 2 Junior Rider Cup teams, A Curtis Cup team, and a Solheim Cup team. 'Big difference between her and Ally.

I don't get worked up about the TV coverage, if my favs aren't on the coverage, then they should play better. If you're at the top of the leaderboard then you get shown, like Ally did yesterday. The top American players are always gonna get most of the coverage, no point getting worked up about cause all video no matter where in the world it is seen (outside Asian events) is from the golf channel and they represent the American market

I don't know if the right word is blackballed. If they're simply not a name, they throw the names they know out there to get eyes to watch the limited coverage. If they do something, then they'll show them. It's really that simple.

You're right, I was just exaggerating. Blackballing is way too involved. It involves too much effort and the GIC doesn't even care that much about women's golf. Even Michelle's getting the cold shoulder these days.

Got to admit, I've never heard of the Golf Industrial Complex.

Nor could I have told you that Michelle is getting the cold shoulder. From who?

I've attended several tournaments, and don't recall seeing a tour van. If there was one, it wasn't Callaway.

I'm guilty of leaving my clubs in the rental cars when I'm traveling.

Lol. It's the LET. 'Nobody gives a fig about the LET. Yeah, she wins the order of merit, but can't make a cut on the LPGA. That tells you all you need to know about the level of play on the LET. By comparison, KLPGA players come over and win U.S. Women's Opens on a regular basis. The last four rookies of the year have come from the KLPGA, and we'll likely see the 5th this year.

Michelle would have to be actively playing golf to be getting a cold shoulder. When was the last time she played a competitive round? She cant be on TV if she isnt on the course.

They would rather give free equipment to IG influencers than to card carrying members of the lpga. I see all the free stuff those girls get and it’s ridiculous like Mayo and Balionis.

Yeah, In-Kyung putting together a fantastic round. Currently -7 for the day after 14 holes.

Brooke had a decent round going, and then dumped her tee shot in the water at the par 3 14th, leading to a triple. Ugh.

Michelle at +4 for the day. A missed cut looks likely. Nelly +3 for the day, and 2 behind the cutline with only 5 holes to play.

'Looks like the GIC put up an info screen for Ally, so she's apparently off the blackball list.

Winds are going to remain fairly light this afternoon. The afternoon wave may have caught a small break. The players teeing off should be able to catch In-Kyung.

Nelly on the verge of missing the cut. I didn't see that one coming.

On the telecast earlier, they said starting 4 PM local, there will be gust of 20 MPH. If that happens the afternoon won't be a walk in the park IMO.

Ugh. So Yeon needs birdie at the 18th to make the (projected) cut, and makes bogie instead. A par may have still been enough to make it to the weekend. 'Not a good season so far.

Yeah, So Yeon, is struggling and the bad part is unlike players such as Brooke and Ariya who's form is a tad askew, for So Yeon it's multiple rounds in a tournament. Then again sure it's sucks for So Yeon missing 2 cuts in a row but they were on course that if you are off you'll get punished. The Kia and the ANA are course you don't wanna be trying to find something on lol
