Do Pro's use broke tees on par 3's???

I have a pocket in my bag full of broken tees for 3 woods, hybrids and irons. I don't know why i prefer them to full tees (which we get for free at my club)....but i just do

Even when I have ONLY full tees in my pocket, I always break them for a par 3. Can't stand using a full-size tee. I'm a very steep iron player, and the thought of using a full tee on a firm tee box hurts my right elbow!! LOL

During the open coverage it clearly showed Graeme McDowell doing this at a par 3

At the Scottish Open a couple of weeks ago, on one of the Par 3’s, just next to the tee markers (which were pretty sizeable), there was a large collection of broken tees and a few of the guys certainly used them...they are just like us!

odd..these are the same guys who want both balls wiped clean before each shot...tee shot
