No. But I know there are strict limitations on what it can do and they reached those limits even before my m2.

And yet memberS on here have picked up speed as did Matt from TXG. Then add in the improvement if standard deviation In spin and ball speed. Plus Matt gained 10 yards over m5

There are certain things that are maxed out but there are still things that can be done to make drivers better.

The manufacturers know theyre maxed out. They also know that most golfers are now aware that they're maxed out. Thats why theyre spouting this rubbish about better aerodynamics so they swing faster.

You may think it’s nonsense but it’s been proven that there are gains to be made both with these drivers and the mavriks with first hand testament from members on here as well as online reviews.

Does that mean everyone will see distance/speed gains? Nope but doesn’t mean they aren’t possible. Can the results of an off center strike be improved? Yep. Does it mean a terrible swing will all of a sudden be in play? Nope.

Instead of claiming it’s marketing bs how about going to to test for yourself and see.

Im not saying people can't get a driver that suits them more. I am saying that the rubbish about improved aerodynamics is not delivering it.

I am going to hit the SIM MAX and the Cally, I personally do not expect to gain much in anything but maybe forgiveness. I am a long time WRX'r and have like most my share of clubs especially drivers, I think I just like changing each year or so more or less with the driver. But, the SIM MAX seems to be the one I would migrate to, for the first year have been thinking of a last year model instead (ie M% tour issue) and the only reason for the tour issue is the COR testing and exact measurements you can choose from. But I must say the pic of the SIM color scheme of the chalk looks so cool so who knows.

There’s proof from member here that have seen it and video evidence from txg that does. So I believe some will.

i don’t discredit anything and everyone should test for themselves to see if something is better.

Golf isn’t the only consumer good Thats gets similar marketing but is the only one that gets bashed for it. It’s not like the engineers are just wasting time coming up with nonsense and then having marketing put a spin on it.

The 2 test I have seen both found identical clubhead speed to their old driver and carry/total distance the same.

If the aerodynamics did what the marketers say then everybody would notice an increase.

Drag is not a significant factor.

I will but I've got a physics degree. Nobody will convince me that anything you do aerodynamicaly to a 460 cc head will be responsible for a meaningful increase in head speed.

And if they've found a way of overcoming inertia ( I don't know what generating inertia even means. ) they should be in a whole new business.

also if this were true all drivers would be performing the same.. they do not..by far. manufacturer enhancements in internal external design is making a huge difference. The MAX is able to get 4-5 more ball speed than the old M2 2016...and more spin so with a well fit shaft to take advantage of the increase in ball speed, you could have a 20-30 yard gain..or more depending on which planet you come from

Ok. Ive watched 2 vids. One at TM HQ and one back home. The only time they mentioned any clubhead speed was to totally dismiss it. Which is a bit odd if the aerodynamics increase that speed. The short answer is, they dont.

Im not saying its a bad driver. Im calling "the kings got no clothes" on the aerodynamic marketing inertia generator waffle.
