Anyone have any info if or when these will be released?

 +1 Wish we knew a release date. I feel like every month I've scoured the nets for any info on these, and no one knows. Seems like a huge missed opportunity for LAGP with Bryson being the hottest thing in golf right now.

 

Just sell us the shafts please, thanks LAGP!

If it's any consolation, this is a message I got from one of their employees a month ago:

Thanks for following up.  Unfortunately, at this time we are not releasing them for retail or to anybody who is not a player partner.  I think by the end of the year if not sooner the shafts will be available.  If anything changes on our end I'll keep you posted and feel free to touch base with me.

Wow, thanks @JakeW13! Seems absolutely bizarre that we see Bryson tout the 'strongest, most stable' shafts ever made thanks to LAGP, but they don't even offer an iron shaft in X flex in their current lineup.

 

They just don't cater to 'players' with their Altus line. The only iron shaft in their lineup is a garb 65gram pool noodle.

 

C'mon LAGP! Give us the goods!

LAgolf is going through a bunch of internal changes. They seem to have lost all traction since they lead designer left for ping. Their website has been functionally down since then.

I'm considering either refinishing my VDC-01 irons or getting a new iron set within the next couple years.  Regardless, I'm going to test these Rebar protos.  My guy has access to just about everything retail and tour only so I consider myself very lucky.  If anybody else comes across these shafts and has tested them I would be interested to hear their findings.

They have a new designer and are working as quickly as possible to produce shafts. They got a bit of a “double whammy” that occurred with Bryson’s success (most of the focus coming on the wood shafts because of his increased length, nevermind he’s driving it ridiculously straight most days too for all that new length) and then also of the putter shaft with Na, Fowler (has since moved on) and others besides Bryson putting it in play. Lots of orders coming in and it’s really just been a production issue to keep up with demand. The company wasn’t structured in its infancy since Matrix was bought out of bankruptcy to handle the surge that came all at once.

I really hope they do well. I played Grafalloy for YEARS and they pretty much got put to bed by True Temper. So I finally commit to switching to an LAGP shaft and I hear their designer moved on. Maybe I'm bad luck for shaft companies.

If nothing else I think it is exciting to see more high end graphite shafts. I'm hopeful in the for what is to come in the next 10 years when my joints need start to need some help. Very well could see graphite take over the market since there is just so much more flexibility in what they can do vs steel.

I agree with this. I have an MMT in a HMB and it’s fantastic. I’m really looking forward to there being more options out there

Ya know this was a combination I was looking seriously at for a driving iron. With the new Callaway driving iron that just came out I have a decision to make!

I hope LAGP make its also... loved the ozik black tie and had one in my driver, 3w, and altus black tie in my driving iron for 2 years. Very intrigued to try the Tour AXS line

 

Oly was such a good dude. He took my call directly and advised me on his recommendations of tip trimming

 

overall tho LAGP's website has been horrible for 2 years. Seems like there is no dedication to it at all. No matter what options you select on their "shaft recommendations" you get a regular flex ozik white tie.

Funny, I only went to their website after I got fitted into one of their shafts. I just wanted some info on it. It's weird that all the fitters have the new line up but it hasn't hit their site. And you're right, that site is pretty bad. But the Tour AXS is just fire. The LAGP stuff is just ultra stable.

Anyone gaming the AXS Blues?  Was fitted today for LA Golf and would love to know how it compares to Accra icwt 95s. I love Accra, but very curious on LA, too. 10 more grams but no clue if anything else is comparable since it’s hard to know via their site.

I have one in the driver, but I haven't even seen the iron shafts at a custom fitter.
