I am looking at getting one of the 500 dollar ish launch monitors?  I realize These are not as accurate has the high dollar ones but I want one that can give me the most accurate information as well as most information for my dollar?  What would everyone recommand, I have been looking at the Rapsodo??

thanks

Does anyone else have any input on this?  I’m also looking at some of these.  I just need something simple that will give me a basic idea of how far the ball is going, and what direction it is going.  Obviously I’d love to have all the bells and whistles but that is not in the cards right now.  Is there anything that will give me decent directional and distance numbers for around $500?  The mevo or rhapsodo seem like they would get it don’t but if they really didn’t work I won’t bother.

In my experience, you use it a few times and move on. Get one of the PRGR radars, way cheaper and you get SS and ballspeed. And start saving for a skytrak, mevo+ or used GC2.

Is there any is the $500 price range that looks at degrees offline or sidespin? Just want to know how far offline I am hooking the shots into my garage net.

I am by far an expert, but have been looking  for the same thing for about 6 months.  I've seen nothing that gives shot shape under 500 except  for the optishot.  Unfortunately the reviews are really mixed on that unit. I kind of think inaccurate  data could send me down the wrong path and potentially  make my swing worse.

I ended up ordering the SC300 to get an accurate distance and club tracking. I guess I could spend the additional  1500 to see what my shot does, But a trip to the range and lessons  might be a better investment  for me.

I believe Rapsodo MLM does Launch Direction, now the accuracy into a net I’m not sure as it sounds like people have had some indoor use issues.

Do you plan on using this at the range or course only or will you be hitting into a net at home too? I believe the rapsodo needs some balls flight to work so it probably wouldn't be good into a net. I used to have an SC100 before I eventually got a GC2. I found it to be pretty decent into the net in my yard and even took it out on the course a few times to compare drives with my friends. I liked that it had random distance mode to keep things interesting. Ultimately I sold it because I found myself not using it too much and the numbers got less accurate based on how clean I hit the ball or with the longer clubs. If I were to get one again if probably go with a mevo or the sc300 because they supposedly can measure backspin and some other data points. The nice thing about the sc300 is the built in screen so you don't have to mess with connecting it to anything. For just basic data and to save some money the PRGR looks pretty good too.
