Hovland with the alternate color Lucky pack Roshe today.  I'll never understand why Nike hits on a shoe then gets rid of it.  TP's and Roshes are great.

Yeah...the 270s tend to yellow a bit.  The 90s do not.

How do the 90s do with dirt in the "mesh"? Is the mesh really a not-so-porous plastic, or does dirt get trapped in it easily?

It's not too bad.  There is a waterproof coating over the mesh...so, it really has to be dirty/muddy for it to get in.

If you are referring to the plastic "mesh" all the way around the upper of the shoe, It cleans up super easily. You dont have to worry about dirt getting trapped. If you are talking about the mesh on the tongue, that is like normal shoe mesh, and you'll want to spray it down with a waterproofing, or whatever you would normally use.

I am so pumped. I hope they are actually available like the am 90s this year or the ADG 3. Like you can just buy them.

I really like the AJ1’s. I have quite a street shoe collection. No way could I see these comfortable enough to walk 18 which I do unless a scramble or the like.

The AM 90s are light and easy to walk in. I am sure the jordans are the same, especially if they are the updated model with the zoom air. 

 

But I feel you, I have the Jordan 4 golfs and they suck to walk in. Heavy like bricks and being mids, they have a much different feel.

Thanks. Gonna give the wide a shot.  Maybe they'll work out with everyone complaining about the zipper tightness on the previous gen.

Well, it happened, yesterday. My air pocket on my AM270Gs burst. Only the one on my right shoe. I was very sad, when I felt what had happened. Was just walking, mid round, and it gave in. I know it's been a little while since I bought them, so there's probably nothing I can do, at this point, which sucks, because these were my favorite shoes in comfort and style. And, of course, this colorway (grey/volt) isn't available anywhere. I suppose I'll have to find another pair that I like just as much, somehow. Anybody that had/have these have any suggestions on what to replace them with that is just as comfortable to walk in, and traction and waterproofing are just as good?

Nike gives a 2 year warranty for stuff like that. They'll issue a full price GC to you.

I got a credit from nike for a popped bubble on a shoe that was probably a year old. Reach out and they should credit you. You'll have to send them and then you'll get the credit most likely.

My Grey/Volt also popped. I just sent them back a few weeks ago and it only took about 9 days till I had my refund. It's pretty easy.

I have so much incoming and outgoing that I could say they were replaced with any number of things. I bought 4 pair of the AM270s when they first came out. 2 didn't fit right and got returned, 1 popped, and 1 is still in the rotation. That being said, they are sparsely used compared to the rest of the stable. I much prefer the AM90s and the ZITs. Honestly, I cant remember the last time I wore the 270s. So, if your feet get along with the ZITs or AM90s, personally, I'd rock with those!

I basically switchedfrom the Zits to the 270s. So I bought a few pair of 270s. I think they are by far the most comfortable nike shoes and don't feel cheap like the others sometimes do. I walk a lot and they are great. My rotation is 270s and Gfore mg4+. (The lack of quality of Nikes really shows when you introduce a gfore, footjoy or Eccos unfortunately.)
