It could be one of those finds that’s worth like $400-$500, but I’m just going to keep it as a cool keepsake.

 

Love the craftsmanship that went into it, and will be fun to pull out every now and then for a round!

This is exactly what I was thinking.  A new version of the same bag would easily run that today.  Growing up in the late 70's and early 80's there were so many of these leather bags around.  Most probably just tossed in the trash at some point.  Nice find.

I’ve been trying to hold off on buying anything else until I can actually test stuff live on course. We’re supposed to have courses and driving ranges opening next week here, but it’s snowing today…Ugh!!

I’ve almost pulled the trigger on a few different Iron sets lately, but since I haven’t even gamed the ZX5’s outdoors yet, I’ve been trying really hard to hold off until I can actually hit them outdoors.

 

That statement would be ludicrous to most people, but WRX’rs understand how hard it is to control the CRAVE, Lol!

Over the last week I rolled all the new 2024 putters that were out at my local Golf shop. And what do you know…the best results I had by far were from a re-released classic.

 

My 2 finalists were this revamped Odyssey White Hot OG 7 S, and the new AI-One 7 S.

 

The revolving door for putters should be slowing down here soon…countdown to the season’s on! 

The OG 7s is such a great putter, and value!  I once had 7 birdies in a USGA qualifier with one.  They were dropping from everywhere.  Unfortunately I couldn't ball strike that day, but anyway.  I think it would be a good one for you.

Yeah, I agree 100%!

 

So far the performance to me is just as good as the 2023-24 Odyssey putters, but at half the price.

 

Time will tell how it rolls in live play, and how long it will stay in the bag…but looks like it’s going to be very tough to beat!

First outdoor range session in the books today, and first round of the season booked for Wednesday!!

 

Interesting results at the range today…clubs that I thought were front-runners got beat out clearly once I could see real ball flights.

 

Will test out the results on the course, and will have my 2024 WITB ready by the end of the week!

Came across some Sun Day Red socks at a store here in Canada called Dollarama, so had to scoop them up!

What’s up Everybody! Slow start to the season here because my Golfing buddies are S-O-F-T and say it’s too cold to Golf, Lol!

 

I’ve got my 2nd round of the season booked for tomorrow though, and just finished my 3rd practice session, so I feel good about doing my 2024 WITB.

 

You guys will be shocked, but after all the testing over the Winter, for the first time ever most of my bag will stay intact from the end of last season.

 

The stuff I tested just couldn’t beat the stuff I used to end the season, so the only thing that stuck from the Winter was my new Irons! 🤷🏽‍♂️

 

Without further ado, here is my 2024 WITB:

You’re probably right on both counts. Definitely a setup that a normal human could use for years, but I’m not normal and every club is always on the chopping block, Lol!!
