Mizunos iron wait time.

How long do you guys have to wait for mizuno irons? I ordered my custom 921tour on dec 22th, and was told Jan 7. I still haven’t got an update or ship date.

I literally just got off the phone with them. The guy said 6-7 weeks as of today.

The wait is killing me. It my first new set of clubs I didn’t know I was going to be waiting months!

I ordered my set of 921F the week of thanksgiving and received it this week. The wait sucks but worth the wait. Good luck

I ordered my custom 921 HMPs on 12/7, and it said they were backordered until 1/7, so the fitter said probably by the end of January, but it could be the first half of February.

 

It's now 1/13, and I've not heard whether they've started building them or anything like that.

Someone needs to make a giant order times thread. These are clogging up the forum both as a whole and in individual threads. Half of the posts in the 921 and p770/MC threads are literally about when people ordered and when they can expect them.

Yeah, not sure why people expect their clubs immediately in the current times.  Mizzy used to be in hand within a week, but people can't expect that anymore with the pandemic.  Those starting the threads mustn't have been quarantining 😉

921 HMP ordered on Dec 1st. Got shipment notification Jan 14 from Georgia. 1.5 months.

Ordered my MP 20 HMB/MMC's on 1/4.. Called Golftec this morning (who I ordered them through) and he said that he saw where there isn't any on Backorder so thats a good sign.. Told me to expect them in about 3 to 3.5 more weeks.  We will see if that's right!

Ordered a HMB/MMC combo set on January 4th, no update either.  Fitter told me when I ordered them that it would be around 4 weeks.  Really hope that's true!

It's not only Mizuno. Almost every golf manufacturers currently have 6-8 weeks wait time.

It's at least 7 weeks for sure right now if you order irons. It must be a mess there... haha...

Just got off the phone with my fitter and he said mine are in production. So I assume that is a good sign!

Let us know, I was told in production too and they were in production for weeks...lol.. it's possible they finally caught up to the orders. I posted before, ordered Dec 1, and they shipped Jan 14th. Was promised end of December.

That’s a good sign. Been thinking about ordering some T-20 wedges and the only thing holding me back is waiting for 6-8 weeks to get them. 
 

and that I has really no issues with the zipcore wedges. But I love the look of the T-20s and read nothing but good things about them.

Set of 921 Forged took 6 weeks in November 2020.

 

My 4i of 921 HM single iron took 6 weeks in December 2020 to Jan 2021.

So both occasions, I saw 6 weeks.

Spoke to my fitter again this morning and said Mizuno states that both my heads are backordered and no specific time on when they will get them in.  Not sure why last week it said it was in production.  My golftec fitter said if he had to guess, it would be about 4-5 additional weeks (ordered 1/5).  At this point, since my specs were pretty standard, I am debating on cancelling the order and just get a HMB/MMC set off Ebay that are lightly used.  Hoping Golftec will let me cancel my order.  Anybody ever cancel an order while it is backordered?

I was all in on ordering a set of MP20s but with an almost 2 month wait that puts us into April... At this point I honestly feel like it’s better to just wait for the ‘21 MP update. Anyone agree?

I wouldn't wait on the club you have not hit. 

 

It's like I am holding off buying a future generation Landcruiser. It may or may not come... also I don't know how that will work for me.

 

Fitting is the key for irons. Also you could borrow from the club, friend and etcs to hit it off the turf to see.

I was told 6 to 7 weeks a week ago for 921F and changed my order to a combo set of Srixon ZX5/ZX7s. Quoted 2 to 3 weeks. Got a buddies trip the Mizunos wouldn't be available by. Hit both, loved both figured I couldn't go wrong.

Agree, but would you buy a current Landcruiser at full price (with a 2 month wait) when the new improved redesigned model is only few months away? If you’re not in a bind that seems kind of asinine don’t you think.
