Mine arrived this afternoon. Included were a Takomo hat and towel. Now if it would stop raining I can try them out.

Got my DHL shipping notice for my set of irons.  Scheduled to arrive next week.  Seems to be one of the first sets of assembled irons I've read about making it to the "in route" status.  This set going to my son (4 handicap-type specs).  If they are as good as the reviews I'll order another set for myself (more real world specs, lol)

They do exist!!  Very fast DHL shipping, arrived today.  Set looks and feels great.  Will update when I have a range report. I know everyone (including myself) was having doubts but the irons are being distributed.

Well, got an email yesterday that 101 are back in stock. Went straight to the site to place an order. 
All specs all shafts already out of stock 😳

To those of you who have played them, in what category would you place these?  Players (e.g. T100), Players Distance (e.g. TM P790) or Game Improvement (e.g. PXG 0211)?

I got an email that the lefties are now available, but I don't see the option for heads only.

The 101s are closer to players distance, but it's fairly forgiving in distance control. We also have a fully forged 201 series coming out that is closer to players iron.

Your ad copy now states "431 carpenter steel..."

 

"carpenter steel" suggests the 431 material is manufactured by Carpenter Technology, a specialty metal manufacturer headquartered in the USA.  Is that the case?   If so, that's impressive.

I have tried to order after recieving  your email only to try and your OOS. Anyway want to order and have a question. Do  you charge to to soft step or hardstep? Is the Tour 90 the only shaft available. I play regular i95 Steelfiber thus would the reg or stiff work out better if I don't want the additional custom work and just get stock. Ready to place order but being the wait is so long a custom order probably makes no sense. Steelfiber plays stiff to flex as most know and I hear here KBS Tour 90 can play soft to flex .

Yes, we can hard or softstep the shafts. Just mention it on the order comments. 

 

We do have some other shaft options available from KBS and Fujikura. You can see the available options on the customization page. You can also email us for custom shaft requests and we can check if we can get those for you. 🙂

We are based in Finland. The components are made in Japan, Taiwan and China. We do the assembly in China and ship out the products from out Hong Kong warehouse. 🙂

I just looked and there wasn't a place to note I wanted KBS Tour 105 regular hard stepped once? I would simply get the 90 stiff ,but wanted the extra weight.

I just ordered heads and will do my own shafts. But I'm picky like that.

There's "Order notes" filed on the checkout page. You can use that. Or you can email our customer support and we will add the mention in the order notes.

How have gotten along with your 101's?

Pls include some details of your game and possible comparisons to earlier irons.

All of you that got your 101’s, what hcp group are you? I ordered the 101’s.

I play Mizuno HM since a few yrs back and just a year and a half after hip replacement I’m back to single digits, 9.1

Maybe the new 201’s would be a better choice?

The 101's are my first GI type iron and I was just interested based one the looks and the price. The lofts are killing me, so I might scribble a different number on the bottom so I don't grab the wrong club. 🤣
