Sent an email to Sebastian yesterday warning that I would dispute my charge. Coincidentally received a reply with DHL tracking for my heads.

Your clubheads are shipped via DHL Express. Here tracking information https://track.aftership.com/trackings?tracking-numbers=3149369602&courier=dhl

Hi all,

I requested notification when stock was available, a few weeks later an email came stating a small amount are in stock.

Add to this, the email had no business info, Logo, Contact details, surname etc. nor what role/position Sebastian has, all very unusual.

Email read:-

Hope you are well.

I'm emailing you, because you requested to be notified when the Iron 101 was back in stock and available for order.

We have a very limited batch coming in stock. These are with the standard setup and unfortunately we can't customize these. We have some with R, S and X-stiff flex shafts available if the standard lengths fit you. Shipping time will be around the first week of July.

If you're still interested you can order from here https://takomogolf.com/iron-101/

I want the refund I requested weeks ago. it’s been weeks. No other company acts this way. Like the Sopranos said, “ I hate how you make me keep contacting you. “ I’m filing a cc dispute today.

Patience young padawans. I ordered a set of t100s irons from club champion last September and they arrived around Christmas time. I would expect my set from takomo to arrive roughly 3 months from my order date (may 21). Covid has increased golf club production exponentially.

How long should a requested refund take? Weeks?

Requested partial refund on June 23, and full refund on June 29th. Partial refund of $159 on July 9--16 days later.  No refund since then...still waiting for $350...18 days later....

I'm also a little shocked that nobody has a set of these to comment on. Just seems odd that they are sold out before any have been sold ?  No information on the company which seems odd as well. Hopefully it's not an elaborate scam to get $450 from thousands of golfers before running off to Cancun with all the money ?

Remind you of another company?  Big Baller Brand 🤣

That's why I dont like spotty emails from retailer ..especially with a new name manufacturer.

Mine have arrived!

1st impressions - really well packaged (heads individually wrapped with the weight on them, then bubble wrapped). Included a Takomo towel which was a nice touch.

Pictures online don't do these justice, they really look amazing in the flesh. Seem to be well made/finished but obviously time will tell when I hit them. Blade length is very similar to my old AP1s which I've been gaming again lately, although they are slimmer toward the heel and the topline is a shade thinner so they look a little less chunky by the ball. Sole is fairly wide but nothing that would bother me.

Bouncing a ball off them the sound and feel is surprisingly nice (guess this might change once shafted) - very slight soft click, way nicer than the AP1s, fairly similar to my forged Wilson FG Tours.

Hoping to get them built this week and get hitting them.

They look sharp.  Is that a hole on the side of the club or is it just a reflection of something?  I play AP1s myself, so would be interested in your comparison.

Those look sharp. One issue I see is the headweights are all over the lot. I’m not trying to be a downer but hopefully your builder is good and can weight them to get your swingweight consistent through the set. Typically you want 6-7 gram gaps between irons.

Received my Takomo heads few days ago (ordered on 26th of May). I was informed by the Takomo staff about some delays but at the end, I received them. They are looking very good, Already installed MMT shafts and I am not disappointed by the look and the performances.

Can you post some photos of them with shafts on em 🙂

I too ordered May 22.  Trying to be patient knowing COVID has screwed up everything from component availability to shipping times.  Supposedly my irons are "assembled and heading to shipping" but have not received a tracking number yet.  Sebastian usually replies to my emails (about 5 so far) in a day but I do have a "this could be a scam" feeling until I actually see something in route.  Glad to see one person has at least received the 101 heads.

Yea, same for me. I ordered on May 10th and I’m still waiting. They told me the same thing. That it was done in assembly and waiting for the carrier for shipping. But the issue is that they said that last week on Tuesday. And still nothing.
