@KBong, the Yins are not related. Ruoning is from Yunan (southwest China), Xiaowen is from Tianjin (northeast China).

the (Angel) Yins will be paired with the (Amy) Yangs of Korea and  (Y.E.) Taiwan! ☺︎  Now that will be explosive golf!  On a more serious note, this is a disastrous (but still salvageable) stage 2 for some of the ones I’m monitoring:  Wann Boonchant, Abby Arevalo... the others should just move on: del rosario, abe, darquea, etc

Back to Square one of Andrea Lee, Bianca Pagdanganan, Dottie Adina and Kelly Tan?

I'm surprised Top-45 and ties will advance to the Q-Series.

We've already have 73 players qualified for Q-Series assuming 38 from LPGA #101-150, 25 from Symetra #11-35, 4 from LET #1-5 and 6 from Rolex Top-75.

The field will be about 120 when players advanced from Stage II are included.  It'll be a challenge given the short daylight at that time of the year.

I'm not surprised.

Mollie and the LPGA continue to con SO MANY that they'll be able to play golf competitively to make a living.

Q-school is a CASH COW...the more the merrier and fatter the wallet for the LPGA.

Heck....I bet if they had Stage I, Stage II and Q-Series at 400+, 300+ and 200+ registrants...they'd have those spots filled by the many who think they can play on the LPGA and Symetra tour one day.

Ice Cream gal continues to POSE....currently at T111 midway through rd 3.

I'm disappointed.

Maybe Guan TianLang can put in a good word for her so she can work along side with him at the bag drop(s) at Mission Hills in Shenzhen....lots of tips....twelve 18 hole courses.

Crazy Lucy Li has such a LOVELY & FUN personality....she would have been a great addition to the LPGA with BIG endorsements from WeChat and Huawei waiting for her.

She CHARMED the pants off of Egghead and Tim Cook.

Boonchant still has a chance... and Arevalo is still on the course, but it'll be a tough slog for these 2 southeast asian gals heading into round 4...   Andrea, Bianca, Dottie and Kelly are "vets" in comparison LOL

https://www.nst.com.my/sports/golf/2021/09/730201/kelly-did-not-do-anything-wrong

"It is learnt that Kelly was given close to RM400,000 to cover her preparations for the 2020 Tokyo Olympics. However, the "lack of support" that Kelly was referring to was not in a financial sense, but morally.

She had hoped for a top official from the Sports Ministry, OCM or NSC to turn up at the Kasumigaseki Golf Club to cheer her on - as this would mean much to her and as a sign of acknowledgement that she represents the nation."

Poor baby...no one flew to Japan to cheerlead for you during a PANDEMIC.

Pretty funny how the Entitled Malaysian Princess trashed the Malaysian gov't for lack of morale support...LOL....I gotta believe Kelly has shilled money from the Malaysian Golf Federation/government while she was pursuing her goal to become a pro golfer.

Karma rules baby!...going back to Q-Series...don't bite the hand that feeds you.🤣

Her stats for 2021 aren't great.

Don't they play on two courses at Magnolia Grove? There's a cut after 4 rounds before they move to Highland Oaks for the final 4 rounds.

You're right, this is different than 2019.

There're only 98 players at the Q-Series in 2019; the cut was made after the sixth round to #80 and ties.

I played The Falls at MG back in 1997....it was so DAMN HOT & HUMID....Labor Day weekend.

This Van City Pansy Boy ain't use to that heat & humidity.

We also played all 27 holes and the short course par 3 at Cambrian Ridge...playing the tips on the par 3 course = some of the toughest par 3's I have ever played.

We bailed on golf ...too hot .....and a local suggested we go beach in Gulf Shores...Red Neck Riviera was GREAT....largest outlet mall in Foley, I've ever been to.

I predict only 15 players from Stage II who make it to Q-Series...go on to obtain their 2022 LPGA cards.

That's mighty generous. I'd say no more than 10.

Woohoo! Hou sisters make it to stage 3... Jia You!!!

My 妹妹 mei mei (little sister figuratively speaking), Jaclyn Lee is playing well and near the top of the leaderboard . . . I am really happy for her.  She is a delightful person and I am very happy for her.  I hope that she can have a really good Q-Series and improve on her priority!

Yes, she's deserved it after all these year(s) - injury exemption notwithstanding...

Every player who finishes four rounds of Stage II is qualified to play Symetra Tour in 2022; just in different Priority Categories.

She won't advance to Q-Series even if she finishes as the medalist at Stage II, just like Nelly Korda in 2015.  Her plan is basically to play four rounds and play Symetra Tour in 2022.

It looks like both Pano and Xiaowen Yin will make the top 45 and will not be eligible to advance to Q Series due to age.

I am assuming both will take Symetra Tour membership in 2022.

That's my guess; although they've kept their options open by retaining their amateur status.

Can Pano and Xiaowen Yin turn pro at the conclusion of Stage II assuming both make the top 45? I don’t see they ever go to college and don’t know why they would keep their amateur status.

Yes, both can turn professional anytime they want.

Many players maintain amateur status so they can have one more shot at winning Augusta Women's Amateur Championship.

I now wouldn't be surprised if only 1 Stage II gal obtains their 2022 LPGA card at Q-Series.🤣

In 2019, twelve Stage II players, including Andrea Lee, Albane Valenzuela, Bianca Pagdanganan and Yealimi Noh, advanced out of Q-Series with LPGA cards.

My hunch is this year's Stage II qualifiers are better than their 2019 counterparts; especially the medalist Pauline Roussin Bouchard.

I'll be curious to see if the dynamics have changed amongst the 4 of 5 2018 NCAA Div I champions duking it out for spots on their careers in Dec during QSeries...

Yusang, Gigi, Bianca and Haley...  Only the Norwegian member Sandra Nordaas isn't there (we might as well put in YuChiang as part of that dynamic)

What did I say would happen to the Mexicans? 7 started the week, only 1 advances to Q Series to join Fernanda Lira qualified from the Symetra Tour.  The country of Paraguay (7 million) have 2 advance to Q series. Lots of players who had been proclaimed Rookie of the Year next year(Mehaffey, Ruffels) , did not

advance.

Players like Daniela Darquea and Kim Kaufman return to the Symetra Tour full-time and not necessarily with the best status.
