Na Rin eased up on the gas in the 2nd round, and brought a lot more players back into the mix. This is shaping up to be a great week.

I love the Baby-faced Assassin! Can she go on with it? That girl is ice cool, with with superb analytical capabilities too!

 

I am glad to see A Lim Kim contending. I like her, and I always feel a bit sorry for players struggling to adapt to tour life, especially in a foreign country with a different language.

 

I am surprised that most of the players on the cusp, battling for CME championship entry, or full tour status next year, barely seem able to fire a shot - with the exception of A Lim and Alison Lee, and perhaps Jennifer Song.

Hee Jeong Lim 100% fairways after 9 holes. Will be interesting to see if she can keep it up for another round and a half, amazing. Smooth effortless looking swing.

 

Wouldn't of thought Alison Lee's pants would be acceptable for tournament play, a bit casual I would have thought, not that I'm complaining.

 

Interesting to see a few of the LPGA regulars, whom I do not recall wearing knee high socks, are doing so in Korea....peer pressure perhaps?

Has Minjee Lee ever worn knee highs in tournament play?

Watched round two last night. It was wonderful seeing In Gee get so much coverage. I don't think they showed that many shots when she won the Hana a 3 years ago. Excellent ball striking, but her putter cooled off after the opening holes. It looks like the coolness continued into the 3rd round.

 

Here comes Jin Young. However, Hee Jeong seems to be on auto-pilot.

Did you notice Dumbo giving up on the mallet putter and back to a blade putter this week.

 

I think Minjee is using a different putter.

 

Seems like Danielle is also using a different putter...though just another blade style putter.

 

Dumbo looks tight and playing conservative...too many approach and putts short...seems like she's playing NOT TO LOSE....she can't do that with her fellow Koreans playing well.

 

Doesn't look like Chin Strap is giving her much advice...they aren't chatting much pre-shot.

 

LUV Dumbo in the knee highs.....In Gee didn't wear knee highs much prior to Fair Liar.

 

Is In Gee taking off her skort when she puts on her rain pants?

I don't think I've ever seen Minjee wear knee highs,,,but maybe because  she's a FAKE Korean🤣...born in Perth, AU.

 

Jin Young Ko wore knee highs during rd 3.....very rare for her...she mainly wears her white "flood" pants.

 

Yes....fashion is HUGE in S. Korea....go to any golf course in S. Korea....it's like a fashion show for the Korean women when they play golf in S. Korea.

I even see it here too....a TON of Korean golfers here in Van City...lots of knee highs too.🤣

 

I think I saw knee highs first....back in 2010 when Ai Miyazato wore them...I miss Ai-Chan.

I did not care for them back then...thought they were kinda stupid looking.

Then in 2014...I started to play golf with a very attractive Korean lady who always wore a short skort, pantyhose and knee highs....I then started to like the look.

 

Some of the LPGA gals who might wear knee highs every now and again include (mostly Koreans):

Lucky 6, So Yeon Ryu, In Gee, Jenny Shin, Hee Young Park and Mi Hyang Lee.

 

Actually....I think Sydney Michaels wore them on the odd occasion too...and I think very rarely....same with the Pink Diva.

Roughly speaking, Annika and Lorena Ochoa's 4 best years are miles ahead in terms of wins/top 10s.

 

IMO, JYK 2019-2021 vs. Lydia KO 2014-2016 are very close (keeping in mind JYK didn't really play in 2020 and Lydia's game started to slide in 2H 2016).  Both were about average off the tee and at the top for GIR/putts per GIR (i.e. #1 or the extreme top cut of players).  Personally, I think JYK is hitting it and scoring slightly better but Lydia has more wins and Top 10s (timeframe is not exact so again roughly speaking).  Whether this is a result of the change in tour, competition, I'm not sure (i.e. I haven't adjusted the scoring averages vs the tour median, etc).

Based on the post above....I'm assuming the female WRX members🤣 complained to have @Argonne69 fashion thread deleted or lockdown because they didn't like that the old dogs POSERS here....were fawning and drooling over the KLPGA/JLPGA/LPGA pro's pictures....it's not as if the pictures were of nude women or POSER pictures like Paige Spiranac showing off her ****** ever chance she had.

They were pics of women in golf apparel.

As I mentioned before....I used to play golf with a very attractive Korean lady....in her 50's.....could easily pass for early 40's....always wore a short skort. pantyhose and knee highs in the summer....we carpooled to play in the golf league.

When she arrived..... SO MANY of the guys in the golf league would run over to greet and hug her.......as she walked by the other women in the golf league...they all ROLLED THEIR EYES...it was comical.....they were so jealous of her because the guys would not run over to greet them and say hi.🤣

 

Unfortunately, this Korean lady moved back to S. Korea...but she does venture back here to vacation and to visit with her adult sons....I played golf with she and her son a few times this summer.

Oh ya...she was so ADDICTED  to golf...she'd even play in the winter rain...she never wanted to bail on her girl friends if they made a commitment to golf.

 

People are golf crazed here...it was raining today...so I just went to the driving range to beat some balls and get some fresh air....I saw many people golfing in the rain on many holes....people were still teeing off at 3pm...the rain had subsided....sunset is 6pm.

LMAO...so I'm not the only one to notice the LOVELY In Gee wearing a black bow tie thing on Fri when she put on the black jacket.
