Nike Footwear 2022 (Unofficial Thread) (***NO BUY SELL TRADE POSTS***)

When I was going to buy these the other day at dicks I had to put them back.  Does anyone think that the shelf behind the front zoom air pocket is ridiculous.  It is going to collect so much grass and anything else.  Has anyone who has actually worn them on the course have any comments on this?

I have more shoes than I can count, so I don't waterproof anything as I always have other options if the weather requires it (you know, with all of the erratic weather we have in SoCal).

It at least looks ridiculous, whether or not it collects dirt in there.

Like I could take the shoe off without untying the laces. They felt like wearing running shoes to golf. Also, the side of my right foot is a little sore. YMMV. 
 

Playing 18 in them later today so hoping they break in a little. I’ll update this tonight or tomorrow with more thoughts.

I found the exact same experience with mine (also a size 14). Super comfortable out of the box. Also, these are NOWHERE near as narrow as the Zits (which I had to go to a 15 wide to even try to make work).

I have Fred Flinstone feet but for whatever reason Nike always fits me well.  I like last years Zit as I don't even have to tie the shoe - the show is stable enough on it's own.  So the laces are purely cosmetic.  

 

This is more of a public service announcement.  If you plan on changing laces because you hate white laces that will get insta dirty playing golf, don't.  Unless you have one of those baseball glove stringers (basically a snake to thread laces).  Holy cow the first shoe took me an hour, seriously.  Second shoe went much quicker but still an inordinate amount of time and effort to change laces.

 

 

 

Agreed. I tried to re-lace one pair. Luckily, I only got 1 lace out of one hole and decided it was too much effort. LOL. Never again.

Funny I’ve re-laced a couple pairs and once I had my system down, no issues.  It’s a pain for sure.

I've been thinking about ordering a set.  Buddy sent me their Tik Tok the other day.  Never heard of them previously.  I only found 2 older, kind of light info threads on here about them.  For $32 I'll probably take a chance.  Lord knows I have lots of sneakers to choose from.

i’m thinking of ordering some myself. i don’t like any of nike’s current offerings so i think i’ll make two pairs of cleats from sneakers i like

The consensus on the old thread I found on WRX was to drill a pilot hole first, fill the hole with the included shoe goo and screw them in.  I recall one person saying you could feel the pressure points but riding in a cart was fine.  One other person said he didn't feel any pressure points.

 

Probably best to try on sneakers with a firmer sole.

i was thinking of a running shoe for most of my rounds. a nice thick cushioned sole. 

 

and a pair of SB blazers for rounds where i wear pants. they’ve got a mostly flat rubber sole which i think would work well

Yap and never again, yes you can feel pressure points and I thought i just ruin my shoes, but lucky I send to solehaunt and was able to replace the strobel and requested to put a nike air zoom direct.

Not for me, i bought the white one at local dicks and try it on the course, after 9 holes i switch to ADG3. Not very comfy, have issue maintaining my balance, not sure maybe just not used to it. I feel the same issue on the 1st ZIT, i thought this will be better since they widen the heel a little , and you are right about collecting a lot of grass and dirt on the air pocket. Not looking forward for the pink ZIT i order, now hoping dicks just cancel that order.

Had a pair of ZIT Next arrive today…they’re not as narrow as last years ZIT’s but still need to size up…went for a 10 (I’m a 10 in almost every other Nike shoe) and they are very snug across the foot…but…there was quite a bit of heel slippage vs last years when there was none!

 

I may go 1/2 size up but may just stick with the ADG3’s that I also bought instead!

Yeah I'm 10.5 in adg3 but was 11 in ZIT. Trying to figure out for the ZIT Next.
