Congrats to the 30 women that will be teeing it up at Augusta National this Saturday!  Really great to see Avery Z make it through because we all know how much she puts into it and how hard she works.  Her dad definitely has the formula figured out.  Probably something most parents should emulate.

I'm admittedly not 100% on the girls / women's scene but Amari, Alexa and Avery are all in it.  I guess if you're name starts with A then you're in good company.  🤣

Was most impressed to see Rose finish with 3 birdies to make it in.  She was just on the outside looking in when they restarted this morning.

Sometimes it is more of an example of what not to do. The stories are endless.

Picking the right events to play in, the training schedule, the tough but loving parenting, willingness to travel and a completely deaf ear towards the haters and critics. Only losers criticize the parents of winners.

Since you think this is great parenting i want to know what do you do to emulate the great one.

 

maybe you organize your own league for rankings because we all can see how well that works.

She made the cut and finished 25th.  Man seriously TF is wrong with you.  I guess the ranking helped her played well at the event.

There are parents in all sports that are more concerned with seeing other kids fail or being critical of parents than focusing on themselves and their kids. It’s a key indicator of personal insecurity.

But, I can only think that there's a healthy amount of criticizing and pointing fingers...while trying desperately not to self-reflect for fear of...and realization of...failure.

You can say what you want but when instructors will not teach a kid because of a parent and other parents called out this dad on social media over his behavior there is no reason to say he an example of what a person should do.

 

I would much rather talk about how a girl who had a low ranking found success and the parents are willing to let her travel alone at 16 and doesn’t seek attention at every turn.

Why do you hate them ? Because her kid is better than yours ? It's obvious your hate for them over the years. Do share why they are such horrible people to you. Did they mop the floor with your kid bad back in your Texas days.
