Artisan upcoming irons

sorry this may have been asked previously but are all of the heads, full muscle back, half cavity and full cavity back have a all satin finish on both back and front? Any idea when the guys close for the year and re open and what the current player number is?

I believe they are around 225 for player number but not 100% certain

5-PW in the HC heads. I could've gone with any they all felt so good but split the difference. My player number is 37 so I'm not much help to you on that front.

I’d say tone of US version Satin are very close to RAW

Can anybody out there who has there irons post some feed back? I am curious if anybody who ordered a full set of Full Cavity Back heads can post there feed back on the irons and how they play and do a comparison to what they were using previously before getting there Artisan irons.

 

Just wondering as my number is what back but it is always fun to hear comments with other players and what there is like before and Artisan irons>

My 4-PW HC's are similar, but I let Artisan run their logo as they designed it (red/while/blue).  You're camera skills are way above mine

That will be the trick. While I used to play forged cb irons and not tech irons making sure you can get the height and spin needed will be the issue for me. Coming off of 3 years with the 785 & ZX7's I am assuming it will be close but we will see.

I don't recall the launch (but I'll take note of it in the simulator next time I'm in the garage), but the peak height was been 30 and 33 yards.  My swing speed with the 5 iron is in the 88-91 mph range.  Weak by WRX standards

Thanks. I'm the same speed as you. This is helpful information for me. Sounds like they get to a good height.

Guys, JAT I noticed that everybody so far is ordering the standard PW that comes with the set no specialized wedge like the 52 56 0r 60 that MT grinds for you any reason why? when I ordered my wedges a while ago I had a 46 wedge made along with a 56 and 60. Can anybody shed any light on this and can anybody who has a set of the Full CB HEAD post a review on them and what standard head compares to them.

Personally, if and when i get mine I will use my 46* wedge I already own(assuming not worn out).

 

I play proper links golf and chip with mine a lot.

 My set came with the PW but I to am using a raw 46* with the set.

For my game, I like a straight faced PW (like comes with the set) for certain shots inside 100 vs my 50* Artisan wedge.  It is a matter of confidence.  I think it has to do with the difference in turf interaction between the PW and 50* Artisan wedge.  I just know I can hit the PW cleaner in some circumstances.  When my number comes up, I'll get the PW in the Artisan iron set.

Just got mine today waiting for me when i got home from vacation.  I also got the PW with the set but have the 46 MT wedge as well so will play around with them.  I went with the full CB set over a mixed set but could have pulled that off as well.  Put my order in on the 13th and delivered today.

Looks like they are moving through the list nicely. Have my fitting in a couple weeks. Hope my swing is in decent form.
