Are the weights different than the Stealth Plus?  Does the "standard" version of the next Stealth have front/back weights?

I personally really liked the Red face and the overall look of the Stealth Plus and STD Stealth. I think they are really unique and cool.

 

My problem was the Fade-bias, lack of forgiveness, and spin being too low for my swing and my game.

 

I will say also that I was in the camp of people who thought the Plus was more forgiving than the Standard, which made the the STD pretty useless. No adjustability, less attractive, AND less playable? 🤷🏽‍♂️👎🏽

 

I’m very curious what improvements and adjustments TM has made to the Stealth+ 2 and STD Stealth 2 though, definitely very open-minded to testing them out and giving TM Drivers another chance.

Definitely way more hype last year. Most of that hype was driven by TM and the promises of Carbon revolutionizing Drivers though.

 

I don’t know how many people’s minds were really changed by the Stealth line though. The people that were open-minded to Carbon are still open minded to see what comes next, and the people that are die-hard Titanium will probably stay that way until there’s some kind of massive jump/breakthrough in the Carbon technology.

Nope. 15 only. The front/back slider weight coming in the 2+ 3w, combined with the loft sleeve, will enable the 15 head to launch higher or lower as one desires.

 

Time to learn about shaft deflection...

Ok there's a first big hint.  Front to back slider is definitely cool... is there going to be a draw/fade slider as well?

No. Driver only has the heel/toe slider.

I highly doubt we ever see the return of the front/back track. Adds a lot of weight. Simpler to just have a rear weight that you can swap out for heavier/lighter. Especially considering TM can simply spec the rear weight to after market shops like billy Bob's, golfworks, etc.

I tried a Stealth Plus 9*, a Stealth Plus 10.5*, and a STD Stealth 9* head this past season. I loved the look, loved the concept, and wanted them to work so badly. But unfortunately, I found them too low spin, too fade biased, and felt they were designed for higher SS players than I'm currently at.

 

Much preferred the SIM 2 and SIM 2 Max vs the OG SIM line, so hopefully that will be the case with the Stealth 2 line...a Driver built with more forgiveness and playability for the everyday golfer.

I currently game the Stealth Plus and find it to be very low spinning reminscent of the old FT-9TA.  As a result, I would have to literally murder the ball with low/low shafts to get the most out of it, and after awhile, it got really taxing on my body.  Mind you, I'm a high ss player.  Switched over to a mid/mid shaft and it's money.  With that being said, I will probably get the Stealth 2 or whatever it's gonna be called.
