The designers probably just asked TM what their most popular iron was and went with it. At least they didnt do a Kith edition Stealth SGI iron.

 

There's 30HCPs playing $50k Honma Beres sets, and also playing $1 thrift store clubs. Doesnt matter really.

I'm not saying these things will go crazy high - there's seriously no telling what will take off ... I mean, freakin Bass Pro Shops hats had their moment - but I will say golf-centric is pretty new for this market. Stuff like this, the Macklemore line ... it's moving things in a cool direction I'm personally excited about. Not because it's anything I'm personally interested in but I like that it helps move golf away from the whole "old rich white guy"  stereotype. 

 

And THAT is a thing I'm interested in.

Our pro shop had Nike hoodies ordered with the club logo on the shoulder a few years back and I managed to snag one - so they can't yell at me for wearing hoodies on the course with that one on!

That's awesome! I don't quite understand the hostility to innovation in apparel. I also don't get the statements of "you'll never see a good player wear this stuff, only high handicap rich boys." I'm excited for this release, whether I am able to purchase it or not. 
 

I think what I like the most is we are able to collaborate with the clothing industry. We went from tour pros wearing collared shirts, classic foot joys and golf pants to Jordan's, Nike hoodies, sport golf shirts with no collars and joggers. Plus I like that we keep it stylish, not sloppy or anything bad.

This thread is surprisingly slow considering today’s release. Is there a different thread I’m missing? I was able to cop the driver and putter. Was pretty surprised to see they were barely over retail. I’ll be keeping and gaming both, very excited

They opened everything up as preorders. They sold their inventory during exclusive access. Most of the equipment won’t be shipped until November.

Nerds like us really aren't the intended demographic - but I think it's a great way to expose golf to a broader audience. Diversity is a good thing.
