For any Canadians who were interested in this putter, what a disgrace Golf Town is. 

 

Went on at noon sharp , putter I wanted was available and I added it to my cart.  I press the checkout button , after entering all my CC info I then press submit only to get a message telling me that the item in my cart is no longer available. 

 

What in the F is the point of having a cart if items can get taken from it before I enter my payment info ( Checkout )  ?

 

Complete and utter disgrace, gonna send a complaint to their head office on this one but either was I am thru with Golf Town 1 million percent. Will buy all my golf crap internationally if I have too even if it costs more.

Don’t ever buy anything from Swag.  You’d  blow a gasket if losing on a major retailer site got you this riled up.

We’re you logged into your account? I was on at noon and had no problems. Not to rub salt……. But I’ve never had an issue with golftown. Try to grab stuff on release days with Scotty. Now that’s fun🙄🙄.

welcome to how every website in the world works... you need to actually pay for it before its your. Being in a cart means nothing.  Obviously youve never bought anything from the scotty website.

this doesnt work in reality. Lots of people add to cart and dont complete checkout, inventory would be held by people who may have no intention of buying (essentially window shopping). So your experience would be even worst, inventory would be held for a period of time due to cart adds and it would randomly go from out of stock to in stock. Also how long do you expect the system to hold inventory because its in someones cart? someone could have it in their cart for an hour and never complete checkout.

I think it says somewhere on the Golftown site that order isn't guaranteed until checkout is complete. It allows you to save your credit card info for faster checkout. I saved my CC and address info 10 min prior. Added to cart and checkout complete in under 15 secs. Worked for me. Same thing happens for their demo sale every November.

 

Also, I'm I gonna be the only one that puts this in play**, seems like everyone is just flipping them.

 

**Used one for sale in 10 days with less than 3 rounds 🤪

I dunno hold it long enough so someone has time to enter cc info , 3 mins ? 4 mins ? 
 

Shopped on lots of different websites where after a certain period of time item is removed from cart .

The listings on PGA Tour Superstore changed and no longer say "coming on August 20" and there is an Add To Cart button, but no options are available for selection.

 

Not sure if that means they are about to be listed, or if they are all sold out already.

Saw one of these in person today can’t believe he didn’t use a blacked out shaft the silver shaft really detracts from the look.  Perhaps there were supply issues that's the only thing I can think of.   He used a black shaft in the triple black last year.

Yah I’m actually a fan of naked but I doubt that’s coming back either lol.

Just received my Jet Newport and waiting for the Newport 2 to come tomorrow before I move the Newport. It is perfect for me meaning black with a top sight line. The only small complaint (and it is small and just personal preference) but the sight line is like a greyish black. I would rather a white sight line that stands out more but still happy.

If you love Scotty that much just jump to a CT you'll at least get your money back on that one. These guys buying from flippers basically burned money no matter how badly they want that putter.

.355 taper. I put a Fujikura MC shaft in mine
