For real. If they released colors that made half an ounce of style sense they wouldn’t be in this predicament. I’ve played Ping bags exclusively for the better part of 20 years. Without new colors I might accidentally stumble across a different company to support for the next 20.

Every season I look at the new ping bags, and don’t see anything better than what I have.  Hoofer that’s 8-10? Years old.  Black, now faded more than others on some panels, and black zippers.  It has one more pocket than any hoofer I’ve seen since. I did break down and buy a traverse cart bag a couple years ago, it’s good , but too big to heft into my trunk, more room than I need, shows the wear marks from the cart, and doesn’t stand.    I think the fabric is thinner/cheaper.  
I wash my hoofer in the shower at least once a year, and use a zipper treatment which keeps them running.  
I’ll keep looking at new ones though.

Yeah I really wish Ping would put some sort of reinforced fabric or rubber where the Traverse and Pioneer "cart" bags rub on the dang cart.

 

I always have holes worn through the side of the Pioneer's within a couple of months.  

 

Finally started wedging a small microfiber towel in there to provide protection.

 

Seems like a pretty easy fix.

Yes, mine’s worn through there too, only one season on it.

Yeah, slightly different placement of accent colors, but still the same colors. Hoping for more options not pictured here, but even if there are they're clearly off their rails with their use of red and white for accent colors on everything.

I was able to attend the PGA Show today and stopped by the Ping booth. Got to see a digital version of the 2023 bag lineup but wasn't able to take pics. No new Hoofers and Hoofer Lites were actually there. 
 

Really interesting and cool colorways for Hoofer, Hoofer Lite, and Crazelite.  Slight changes to H and HL and no redesign for CEL.  
 

Some things to point out :

- cool new color called "buck" that's kind of like a rust color paired with an interesting blue tone in H and HL

- still no solid black in HL but there is a solid black in the H

- Stand bags can be ordered without Ping logo

- CEL has an all white colorway and black/red model. 

Bags launching around May.

The Ping rep only showed me the H, HL, and CEL pages. No mention of the other carry bags.

I believe so, yes. Didn't see one in person but the design and Ping logo placement on the apparel pocket tells me it is. 
 

The new cactus cart bag I took a picture of has a magnetic rangefinder "flap" pocket on the apparel pocket that I believe is also on the H and HL. I'm honestly not too familiar with the cart bags so I don't know if that's a new feature or no. 
 

Also forgot to mention that the H and HL have colorways to match the new G430 line - black, yellow (or neon yellow?), and light gray (or white?).

The cactus bag looks like a Ping Pioneer. The bag next to it is probably a Traverse.

Pioneer is my bag of choice but not really diggin' on the cactus edition.

 

Any mention of when these will be available?

I agree.  The rep said last year was one of Ping's best years for bag sales which you would think they'd need to launch new line sooner, assuming current old inventory is depleting?

I doubt it. I would expect the US versions to be available in these colours

That platinum would be great on a Pioneer.

 

Somewhat similar to the Pioneer that I have now which I believe they called silver when I got it three or four years ago.

 

Doesn't fade much or if it does it isn't very evident and is pretty neutral when it comes to showing dirt.

 

I've sprayed it with Simple Green and blown it off with a homeowner type power washer each spring and it has held up well except for the hole that's worn in the side where it rubs on the golf cart.

 

The hole drives me crazy though and I just can't understand why they can't reinforce that area with some sort of rubber or plastic.

 

Ping bags are just too well thought out and designed to still have this sort of flaw when the fix is so simple and obvious.
