If you had or have seen the previous models, does there appear to be any changes? How does the quality of the manufacturing seem on this platinum color?

I saw the new navy/red/white color at the PGA Show and it appears to be the exact same model.  Last year I had the most recent Orange color and durability was an issue.  Based on that, I don't think anything has changed.

The bag is exactly the same as last years. I had no durability issues with the 2021/2022 version. Will have to see how this one is in 6 months.

I had the very first CEL when it came out, I couldn't put a sweatshirt in the apparel pocked without the zipped up part coming apart under tension. Had to return it. Haven't touched them since.

If your straps look like this with the see through portion, it was from the failed version… 

FYI - The pin in one of the legs on my HL fell out (same place where you have that blue tee). I emailed ping and they sent me a replacement set of leg pins for free.

Really interesting and cool colorways for Hoofer, Hoofer Lite, and Crazelite.  Slight changes to H and HL and no redesign for CEL.  
 

Some things to point out :

- cool new color called "buck" that's kind of like a rust color paired with an interesting blue tone in H and HL

- still no solid black in HL but there is a solid black in the H

- Stand bags can be ordered without Ping logo

- CEL has an all white colorway and black/red model.

Any chance they shared any of the 2023 bag specs? I'm hoping for a little decrease in the HL's weight.

 

The weight spacing of the H @ 5.5 lbs, HL @ 5 lbs, and CEL at 3lbs has never made much sense to me. That's a big gap from HL to CEL, and H to HL isn't much different. If they could use carbon legs or something to get the HL down to 4 - 4.5 lbs (Titleist Players 4 plus is 4.3 and Players 4 is 3.8 lbs) a new HL would be a quick purchase for me.

Not much has changed but to be honest I feel the design is good and quality also. Ping always seem to let us down with the colour options especially in the UK. The beauty of the original L8 bags was the huge amount of colours over the years especially the block colours of red, green,navy etc. I would love an all over hunter green option or a plain navy or red.Fingers crossed these images aren't the only options.

I can't speak for UK availability but I did see solid black and navy options for at least the H and HL.

2nd swing had some navy hoofer lites last year that they had custom made. Not sure if they still have inventory.

Looks like it must have sold out, it was solid Navy with white piping and simple Ping logo, I picked up a white and black camo print bag off the site last fall and I don't see it listed anymore either. I would keep an eye on the site though, see if they upload anymore. Its def the place to find unique color bags and with and at the time someone on the site mentioned a discount code and the bags could be had for less than $200

So is it fair to expect we'll see that all black hoofer in the US soon?  I like the white on the current version but keep reading it's impossible to keep clean.

From what I’ve seen I’m kind of leaning towards the hoofer over the hoofer lite. Hoofer looks much better than previous version.
