2023 Ping bags

Our course got a few bags in ... some no logos and the black one is with ping hoofer logo.

Great that they got rid of the white trim which only got super dirty and was uncleanable.

Can anyone summarize the main differences between the Hoofer 2022 and 2023 versions? Is there any difference in materials?

Has anyone heard from PING on why it's June and PING isn't sending Hoofers and Lite's to US retailers?  But international countries have them. (?)

Looks like the Black/White Lite Tour isn’t getting a UK release any time soon!

 

I think I’ll just pick up a Stars & Stripes 2022 Hoofer lite when I’m in Orlando next week whilst they are still in stock and bring it back with me!!

 

Does anyone know if PGASS/Edwin Watts/Golf Galaxy will Price Match CarlsGolfLand if I go in store as they are $40 cheaper??

It isn't as offensive as everyone makes it out to be. Definitely not for everyone but I can see why Ping went with it.  
 

My headcovers are pretty loud already and would be a little too much on top of that bag.

Does ping only offer the no logo bags in certain colors? Interested in the white/grey one with no logos.

They are just trying to come out with a few loud designs, they know they won't sell in high numbers. Could think of a few better ideas than watermelon or cactus. Cactus one might appeal to the Arizona golfers (Ping headquarters)

PING is irritating..  I just sat on hold for 30 minutes to get a rep on the phone.  After asking "What's the US release date for the 2023 PING Hoofer golf bags (which are on all the global sites except the US, and for sale on eBay at an inflated price)?"

 

...the rep said "We aren't allowed to say.  We can't disclose information about future products to consumers."

 

I pressed him a little by saying that they aren't a secret, the bags are for sale at all PING global websites (PING Canada, UK, etc) and that we aren't talking about a new driver or iron technology.  He said "that information is not available.  I wish I couldn't tell you but I'm not allowed.  We keep propriety product information close to the breast."

 

...as if golf season wasn't in full swing.  Feels to me like they want to flush out the inventory of their 2021-22 "Garanimal" bags.

The pro at our local club told me over the weekend that he had heard it will be October before Ping releases the new bags.  Not sure that he has any inside knowledge but that is what he told me when I asked about when the new bags would be available.

They are definitely just using the US to dispose of the old models nobody wants. Until that inventory is gone we get nothing.

I just saw the 2023 Hoofer Lite at the PGA Superstore and it was black. They are selling the 2023 Hoofer and Hoofer Lite on Carls Golfland both in black as well. I just don't get why they don't release all the other colors you see on the Canadian site as well?

Our club just got in 8 or so of the bags, hoofers and lites. Will snap some pics and share.

I am enjoying my new hoofer. I haven't been able to get out much but liking it so far. Carries light and haven't had any club tangle issue.
