Titleist T400 2023 Now in Japan

If this is where Titleist is going for their new 2023 T-Series Irons, I can’t wait to see the T100, T100S, T200 and T300.

Maybe - but you’ll be luckier in the June and July timeframe to see something from Titleist for their main-line updates.  Once they commence their tour-seeding.

Now I'm playing good golf and use cavity backs, but man oh man when I get old, I'd play a set like these if i needed to. They look like the future

The new T400 Irons looks like they are derived from the CNCPT CP-04 Irons, without the Super Metal Face used in the CNCPTs.

Aren’t we about 10 months from the launch date of the new T line?

These T400 are being released in Japan where T400 is a very popular club, They are being released next Month. Will these end up being the ones released for the NA market as well we can only wait and see.

 

Loving my T100S not sure what they can do to make them better, but I said that about TSi as well.....

Although these pictures are of the T400's... this gets me pretty excited this offseason (Canada) because I wanted to get fit into some new irons/woods... so far, the new Srixon MK2 ZX7/5's, The upcoming Taylormade P770's and the (hopefully) futuristic looking Titleist T110S/T200 Combo, are at the top of my list to try out... Super excited for these and also the upcoming TSR Hybrids... I'm already locked down on the TSR4 Driver, TSR3 13.5 & 18 Fairways, so the rest of the bag is up for grabs... I don't want to be a brand wh@re, but an all Titleist bag would be tasty...

These look great - with the Super Game Improvement category… I’m more excited to see what the lofts are. Who will be the first manufacturer to have a sub 40° PW? How far away is that day? 
 

editing - holy crap I just looked up specs … didn’t realize the current T400 have a 38° PW, unreal..

I mean....sure they look slick, but once you put the club down behind the ball it looks like any other SGI iron with heavy offset and a thick topline. But I'm sure the design language will bleed over to the new driving irons....

I may have missed this but isn’t it a little early to be seeing this? I thought Titleist would start showing these Fall ‘23.

Not at all. I know a guy who is a +2 and has won state and city Ams that played tbe G710 for a year because he liked the height he got from them.

Performance is key. Some people aren’t bothered by offset. To each his own.

Exactly!  He said the look of the ball in the air was much more important to him than the look of the club.  It's nice to hear an elite player say that, when you hear 20 handciaps saying they can't hit anything that shows offset or a thick top line 🙂

So true, also gaming the T100S and I don't see myself needing an upgrade anytime soon. They look and feel near-perfect. Interested to see what Scotty does with the new line of putters next year as well...

How much of that slick looking backside is plastic vs metal ? Loved my T200 but not the plastic backsides and the clacky sound they imparted.

Last summer, Titleist launched the new T100, T100S, T200 and T300.  But they did not release a new T400.  So it looks to me that the T400 is coming soon and that the updated T100, T100S, T200 and T300 won't happen until mid '23.

They will be launching  the TSR1 in January.  So it would make some sense to launch the T400 then as well, since they are somewhat targeted at the same golfer.  Not saying they will but it could make sense.

I am current playing the PXG Gen 5 XP's.  They fit my game very well.  I hit the T400's before purchasing the PXG's.  Believe it or not, I liked the look, but could not deal with the sound...very clangy!  If Titleist can solve the sound problem, these definitely would be worth testing.

There are a few sets on ebay. All are from Japan and from what I see the longest is a 7 iron in the sets.

The stock steel shaft is the NS Pro 880, which was in the C16 Irons.  PW is 38, just in case you need a PW that goes 150 yards.
