Very true! Any idea why it's "on sale" already? Is that just an Aussie thing or is it a real sale type of thing? Since obviously seems odd for a brand new product to truly be on sale.

Completely lost on me to be honest with you. I dare say it's to take advantage of post-Xmas sales. Also, rising interest rates have hurt peoples pocket's and retailers are doing what they can to encourage spending.

Can't imagine retailers here will be as kind. Do you know if they were on sale immediately, or dropped after a little bit?

In Australia, they've been available since November (I think?!), around the same time that the G430 line got released out here too. So it's had a couple of months at retail prices and has been on sale since Boxing Day. It's very tempting to get a set and would if I didn't have a Mizuno booking later this month.

Leave it to FedEx to ruin everything. Mine shipped on 1/6, but have been in Anaheim, CA since then. No movement. 
 

Orignally scheduled to arrive on 1/11 but now scheduled for Friday. Sigh.

I really like the looks of ZX7 and ZX5's. If I get new irons this year these may go on the short list.

Multiple reviews I saw today mentioned them. Same as last time. In the long irons.

Ordered Sunday the 8th and got shipment notification from FedEx a package is on the way from Huntington Beach which I presume is Srixion. Scheduled to be delivered Tuesday 1/17/23

I'm not crazy about them moving away from Nippon as the stock shaft.  But I generally skip a generation of irons (went from 565 to ZX5), so I'm not due for another couple of years.

 

The Modus 105s were the main reason I went to the ZX5. I liked the GH980, but LOVE the Modus 105.

Modus are the stock shafts for the zx7. Interesting that they aren't for the zx5s.

Isn't it just a no upcharge custom shaft though? I know they have a decent number of shafts you can get custom built with no upcharge.

Yes, of course you can still get the Modus shafts at no upcharge.  It is interesting that they went with KBS Tour lite as the stock in the 4 and 5 though...weird!

One of the notable things about the TXG test was how all the irons seem to fly in the same window (with a stock swing at least). They seem designed to combo up.
