Srixon ZX MKII Irons

Since the old thread got closed….

 

Anybody heard anything about order dates in the US? I’ve seen a few things for Japan and Australia for early November. 
 

They looks fantastic and I am 100% ordering a set. Especially if custom paint/ferrules are an option as rumored.

Last of Jan/ first of Feb.

 

Last cycle fitters got their heads and were taking orders by late December.

Hahaha. I think you’re on the wrong site. This is golfwrx. I’ve purchased new irons with waaaaaaay less reasons than paint fill. 
 

Sometimes I buy new irons just because I feel like it! Literally no other reason. It’s wild.

Well since the badge is glued on again and still noticeable makes me glad I passed as I had the ZX5's and I seen a rusty look around the badge and heard from others the badge even came loose. Back of the cavity is looking busy as if they tried to fit as much as they could into it. I'm sure they perform and are nice but so is everything else that came out in the last 4-5 years

I heard it's a thinner topline.

I've seen those. They don't really give a good visual.

An in hand real life pic is what I'd like to see.

I've seen the zx5 and zx7 real life pics at address, but not zx4.

Looks like the current ZX5 at address based on those pictures --- much slimmed down.  It looks nice, but will reserve judgement until I actually see it.

Anyone know if there are any changes offset or spin wise compared to the ZX7’s? If not I don’t see any reason to upgrade unless I want a lightly different look in the cavity.

A lot of talk of 250rpm more per iron. I also think offset is the same.

Do we know the US release date on these? I have a coupon code for Srixon I need to use before the new year and was going to hold off as long as I could.  Looks like they are hitting the market overseas and Tour Spec Golf shows Nov 19 release.

Thanks for the update I’ll keep checking the site to see if they pop up soon.  Anyone seen these in person? Excited to upgrade from my 565 irons. Really wanted the ZX5 this year but held off in anticipation for new models.  Visually I’m happy I waited.

I’ve seen them all and they look fantastic. Just as good, if not better, than the last version.

Looks like a very slightly reduced offset per the specs compared to the last zx7's.

Think the address pics of the fours above look better than in reality. I can't best describe it, but the transition of the leading edge in the heel is weird. The leading edge cuts in at the heel. It kind of makes the iron look onset from it's offset. As I said it's difficult to describe. It's a shame as I thought these could have been good for me. I really liked the ZX5.
