ive played both shafts in the 3D and I prefer the Tensei pro blue 60X, its  a great shaft if it fits you.  It's mid spin and mid launch for me but it's sooo smooth and has a wide power band.

Thank you. Unless the TD head is especially heavy, I suspect that the Ventus Blue just doesn't feel right in the head (or the head doesn't feel right on the shaft). A buddy's Titleist and another's Rogue setup both just felt better with the Tensei shafts in them than the TD feels to me with the Ventus.

My TSR2 head is 2g heavier than my TD head, 195g and 197g respectively as stock

Thanks. It HAS to be the Ventus Blue, itself, then. The feeling I get with it is like the shaft is too long, and/or the head is too heavy, and I have to exert more effort than usual to muscle the shaft around. When I do, the results are pretty spectacular, but it just feel like too much work. The two Tenseis (one Blue, one Black) both just felt smoother and "lighter," despite spec'ing out the same.

One thing I have noticed is that the TD seems like it has a longer playing length visually than the TSR2 even though the two are identical. I can only put it down to the shape of the TD creating the illusion that it is further away, whilst only 10cc smaller the shape makes it feel a fair bit smaller than the TSR2. Perception is everything....

Could not agree more. I’ve the exact same perception with a 430 LST as against the TD. Identical shafts and the lengths yet the TD seems longer. I love it all the same. A great shape and performance

Alright.

Have the triple Diamond 3w and like it so much I decided to try out the driver.

golftown has the 100% trade in bonus on Callaway so turned in my tsi3 (kept my hulk60tx)

got the adapter on the hulk yesteday and took it to the range today

thing just wants to go straight and long. Like really long. Love the sound and feel of this thing compared to the titanium tsi3.

have it at 8* and the heavy weight back for now, still tinkering but really like this thing so far!

I have a 9* PD TD head inbound. Worth a try I guess.

I'm not a fast swinger but my favorite heads from the last few years were all low spin versions. OG Rogue Sub Zero, Epic Max LS and the more recent Rogue Max LS.

Right now I'm playing a Rogue Max 9* head and it's been very straight but I spin it too much. Hoping the new head will help get that under control.

I almost picked one up this weekend. Hit it again but this time a 10.5 head at 10.5 and 9.5U.

Stealth2+ and 3d are really neck and neck. I just got the s2+ on warranty replacement for my og stealth so I will give it a go and know that I can go 3d route if I need to.

What happened to your OG Stealth+ if you don't mind me asking?

I've tried to replace my OG Stealth+ but it is so good - nothing can beat it.

I had a "bubble" on the face so I sent it in. It was a 9.0 head that I turned up to 9.75. Swing changes had me hitting pulls with it So i bought a 10.5 stealth+ and it's been in the bag..at 10 degrees. Now that the s2+ is here, it'll go in the bag.

So, took advantage of a defect to get into the loft I now need and have both models to choose from.

I likely wait a year or two to get one of these from CPO as my epic max ls is still working for me. Gives me time to improve my ball striking. Based on the improvement in strike I see in my gamer, I likely will try for a 10.5° head as I seem to need more spin these days (play my gamer at +1 or sometimes +2 loft).

Thanks for the response.  Will be interested to see which model wins out!

But does the s2+ have the s+ hot spot?  Ha

I'm not sure. But, it's faster overall. I cruise at 160ish. In speed training I usually get to right around 165. I've been nursing a hand injury. When the s2+ came in last week, I hadn't hit balls in a couple of weeks.

Hit 162 with s+ without trying. Then got reps with s2+ and popped 164 on a normal swing. I'm intrigued...

Took a 9* PD TD head to the range last night to compare to my Rogue Max 9*. I like it! Feels great. Strong flight. First course experience coming this afternoon.

Surprised you want to go with a TD over the standard model from a Rogue ST Max - any specific reason?

Spin control mostly. I’ve used the OG Rogue SZ, Epic Max LS and Rogue Max LS in the past for the same reason.

I got good results with the 9* Paradym TD on the course today. I’m still planning to audition the 10.5* as well.

Neat well let us know how it goes. I’m going to order a standard model to compare against my max next week.

Been playing the triple diamond driver head for about two months now.  Honestly what has impressed me most is the forgiveness; even bad strikes stay on line for me.  Have had a number of swings which would have been off the planet with my previous driver that are still catching the fairway or just barely into the rough.

Agree, I have been using TM drivers the last 5 years. I can’t believe how much more the forgiving the Paradym TD is over them. My scoring has improved immensely due to not being heavily punished on mishits. Not a Callaway fan but this driver is money.

So what it sounds like people are saying forgiveness is up there with the g430 and tsr2? Sounds crazy for a TD low spin head.

People may say this and I respect everyone's opinion, but i don't think Paradym TD is close to G430 LST in terms of forgiveness. I have played Tsr3, Paradym TD, Stealth+, and G430 LST this year and enjoyed each of them in a different way, but my top 2 are Tsr3 and G430 LST

I currently own both the 9* and 10.5* Paradym TD heads.

I used the 9* on the course for a scramble on Friday. It really performed well for me in the D/+2 setting with the heavy weight in the rear. Very straight with a medium trajectory and some decent roll. Really simple to use and I liked it way better than my previous Rogue ST Max.

The 10.5* head arrived yesterday. It seems to work well in the D/S setting with the heavy weight in the rear. Also very straight in my hands. The flight looks to my eye to start off a bit higher but also more knuckling with less spin. When the ball lands on the range it bounds forward aggressively. I'll be using it on the course tomorrow and will try to make a decision about which head to keep.

My overall impressions of both heads are positive. I like the size and shape. The sound and feel are great.

There are a lot of people out there who say the Paradym heads are ugly. I think the forged carbon looks much more subtle in hand than in Callaway's photos. They may have miscalculated the effect of those early promo pictures on the buying public.

I agree, with your take on the looks.  It almost appears black.  The light has to be just right for the blue to pop.  Shaping is excellent and the feel is superb.  Very powerful and deep feeling at impact.
