Hey there,

First of all: i live in Bavaria in a 500k City, but i have no Chance of Hit These irons with the Right Shaft… some of them (heads) are not not available in the biggest Golf Store. (Which is a joke compared to Golf shops in the US)

so „Go and try“ comments do Not help, i would love to try them

the question Is simple:

what Is the Best feeling and looking Club from the following list? They should perform pretty similar if a Head Stood out for some you, please let me know

- t100

- TCBs

- Apex Pros 21

- JPX 23 Tour

my current Gamer Performs very Good but Even slight mishits feel pretty Bad.

though im happy with em! Head Shaft combo is a killer… i just would buy the new irons with DG again.

Thank you guys

Unfortunately 'best feeling' is a bit subjective. I can try to help by describing them from my opinion:

T100 (my current iron) has a nice crisp sound at impact, with a very subtle hollow feeling to me compared to something more one piece.

TCB and apex pro are fairly similar to me, I haven't hit either in a while but from memory it's a lower pitched sound.

923 tour is as CB as you can get before its an MB, as such you get a dense sound with a mid pitch.

Off center, T100 probably is the most stable out of the lot so factor that into your decision. 923 tour is the most blade like in performance.

As far as looks go, your best bet is to look at address photos on google if you can't demo

JPX 923 tour is very much like 620 CB in that regard - slight stability on off centered strikes, but a noticeable drop off in performance. That being said it's definitely closer to a t100 than a blade.

Feel is more or less what you'd expect from that club - you'll know you missed it or you'll know you've flushed it. Whether or not you can live with the performance drop is the deciding factor.

I notice your signature has Apex Pro's in your WITB. The JPX is definitely more in the players category compared to those.

If you are looking to change to something more forgiving on off center strikes without compromising on looks and feel, I would suggest t100 out of your list.

I’m playing the JPX 923 Tours. The feel and sound of a well struck ball are hard to beat.

I will say there is not a lot of forgiveness with them. You will lose significant distance on mishits. I owned the 221 and 223s as well. To me, the 223 were far less punishing than the other two models. They feel great, but a level below the 221 and 923 Tours. Forgiveness between the 221 and the 923 Tours are about the same for me.

I use my 4i off the tee box a good bit. Yesterday for instance, I lost 30 yards on a toed 4i. I missed the center by roughly a half an inch. My 223s would have lost about 10-15 yards on that strike.

+1 on these.

Most CBs feel good when middled. It’s when they’re not that the OP is really talking about. TCB has a weight plate so that helps in that regard. JPX Tours do not but are a healthy size and so are the Wilson CBs.

The 2023 Cobras are sweet and would likely be my favorites and I’d go TCB next. A little smaller blade than 923 Tours but more forgiving I would say.

If I had to order without hitting I might also take a look at the Edel SMS Pros since they are already regarded as great irons and the feel can be somewhat adjusted.

If ranking just on feel, I’d rank them in the below order with best feeling on the top of the list:

JPX 923 Tour

TCB

T100

Apex Pro

Forgiveness would be the inverse of the above list with the Tours having the least amount of forgiveness.

Had a full set of TCB...very nice forged blade like feel.  And that is pretty much what they are with all the weight behind the grooves.  So, dumped them and got the P7TW blades and glad I did!

I haven't hit the Mizuno but of the rest I'd say none of the above. I've been ruined by Japanese forgings.  So I'd vote ZX7 or Bridgestone CB's for availablity. Otherwise, many other boutique brands. My issue with a lot of these so called forged irons is they try to make them to "techy" and add too many materials robbing them of true, soft forged feel. But we all have different ideas on "feel" so YMMV.

Agreed. I just picked up a set of T100 to replace my JPX tours for distance. In the end, I think I hit 1 or 2 more greens but with a larger dispersion. BTW, 1 yard longer with the Titleist. If you can break 80 every time out, play the JPX.
