Saw the "7" fang model yesterday. Wasn’t able to roll it but the profile looks outstanding,  VERY compact. Weighting felt good but hoping they will offer weight kits to purchase as it felt a little on the light side. Will retail for $399.99

399.. yikes! I get that they may be nice but will be hard to not just get a Cameron, Bettinardi, Toulon, etc for a similar price.

Hopefully more pics and info come out now that US open is over!

It’s my understanding that the second digit in the model number is the neck style. For example, in the B29 model which photos were leaked, the 9 refers to a flow neck.

1: L-Neck

3: Small Slant

7: Single Bend

9: Flow Neck

Per the PGATSS release schedule, the putters should launch June 23rd, so we're just a few days away!

Shape doesn’t seem a boxy as a NP2.  Less toe hang as well.  Wish it was 35 inches as well instead of 34”.  Pure spontaneous purchase.  Heard a Coronado shape head part of release. Would love to see that.

Fair enough, how was the sound and feel? Also how is the quality too?

Seems like your issues are personal preference which is fine we all have them. Just need to know if TM is putting out a quality head.

I handled the fang style putter yesterday. I just dont see buying these over the other milled brands for the price. They needed to come in at like $350 like Wilson did with their new putters.

I just don't like the finish on the TM putter, and the leather headcover is not my style. Quality looked fine though.

IMO, sound and feel right up there with other milled lines…Scotty, Betti, Toulon…etc.  Quality, for me, right up there as well.  Prefer the cover over Scotty’s.  Could easily game.

The putter looks amazing - I hope they didn't skimp out on the quality of those weights though. Hard to tell from the picture. Hopefully more durable than the Spider X weights...

I tried 2 this afternoon (a flow neck anser style and a mallet). They look and feel good and put a nice roll on the ball. The flow neck was thin front to back and had a more solid feel than the mallet.

Nothing really stands out in comparison to other milled putters but the quality is there. TM demands a premium price for their products and I’m sure they will have takers for this line too.

Now back to my Yes Tracy II.

How did the new Taylormade roll, compared to the Yes?
I still have a soft spot for Yes putters (have a Tracy III... along with the milled Korean Yes "Ryo Design" descendent) ... and at first glance... my reaction = that the new Taylormade grooves seem shallow & they will do a deeper "v2" iteration (am wondering if TM still holds the patent to these "Yes" c-grooves, via the 2010's Adams golf acquisition?).

While the Yes! Puts a nice roll on the ball, most of the new milled putters seem to feel better, at least indoors at golf shops. It may be due to the fact that many of the milled putters have heavier heads compared to the Yes!

I still like the Yes! on real greens. It could be the grooves, but not totally sure. It might just be because it’s more like my security blanket since I’ve had it for close to 20 years.

thanks for the reply @pak. I've used these 5g lead "wheel weights", to add weight to my putters. Pasted in the putter cavity (either with some blue tack, or the self-adhesive double-sided tape)

This seller on ebay just posted most, if not all the putters for sale.

https://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_dkr=1&iconV2Request=true&_blrs=recall_filtering&_ssn=budgetgolfer&store_cat=0&store_name=budgetgolf&_oac=1&_nkw=tp reserve

Updated the link to narrow down the search to just the tp reserve, in case they added newer listings.

I think the patent lapsed a few years back, they generally last 16 years. They still own YES! and C-Groove trademarks, but I think the patent has lapsed. The new Adams putters use the same tooling as the original putters.

Would have been neat to have had a milled range with the tech.
