There always been expensive sweats

But they still sweats!

Like remember adidas sweatsuit come out back in the day $100! Lot of cash back then! But still sweats.

Andre has been living in semi seclusion in Northern Quebec ever since the unfortunate Denny Pratt tragedy.

This young man has had a trying rookie season, what with the litigation the notoriety, his subsequent deportation to Canada and that country's refusal to accept him, I guess that's more than most 21 year old's could handle. Ogie Oglethorpe

I don’t care what it costs. If you think a nicely fitted Greyson hoodie looks “beer league” or sloppy I don’t know what to say. We can just agree to disagree 😇

I grew up in an era and Midwest where hooded sweat shirts were worn during the winter... NOT on the golf course or during the summer, much less with hoods up in restaurants and theaters, etc.  Looks stupid.  Has nothing to do with change and everything to do with not being a victim.

Never understood why average Joe youngster wants to look like a bad guy; wearing Hoods up, and saggy pants, yet 98% of males are scared of their own shadows.  The latest trend in major cities has been the criminal element wearing hoodies up, been assaulting people in parking lots of all sorts of establishments, and lot cameras can't get an identifiable image because of hoodies.   Reason I trained family members and close friends on using a baton.

Contrary to idealistic wishes regarding profiling, it's necessary, at times.

LOL You never know....  what a touring pro will do if he's down on times.

JT has a clothing contract which means they send him the cloths to wear each event.  Everyone I know thinks  hoodies and pegged pants look silly.  Interesting, we're not seeing him wear those two items very often.

No, I’m not saying that stuff can’t look good, fitted, stylin . I got couple nice joggers that I’ll wear when I’m  “out”. I’ll admit me dope new balances don’t make the grade when I wear those 🤣

Im strictly taking about pro athlete game day attire.,

Good point! Put em all in matching uniforms!! Some of those “professionally appropriate polos” can be quite unsightly 😬

Sweats are great for pro athletes on game day.  Tennis pros wear them to the French Open.

I have sweat suites/joggers too, but there's a time and place to wear them.  I have no hooded sweatshirts.  Couple weeks back we were staying at my buddies huge home.  He came walking out of his bedroom wearing a hooded sweatshirt, and had the hood up.  I said are you trying to look like a stupid kid?  His wife and my wife laughed and agreed.  He went and changed.

I don't wear sweats to golf, nor to dinner with friends, not to the office or gym, nor do I wear them to the practice range.  But have worn them to the movies and grocery store, and plane trips, etc.

Is there any proof he was tackled because he had a hoodie on, or are y'all just assuming that?

Security guard is told to stop everyone without credentials.  Guard sees guy running at the guy he is to protect. Guard does exactly what he was told to do! Done!

If this story had gone the other way...

Guard is told to stop anyone without credentials. Guard does not stop guy he sees as maybe a golfer. Guy turns out to attack winner. Guard gets crucified for not doing his job.

Pretty much a damned if you do, damned if you don't situation.  I saw it hundreds of times in my law enforcement career.

I rarely generalize or lead with stereotypes but most people that wear hoodies are addicted to something - dope, smack, gambling, processed meats or adrenaline.  You see this sort of behavior from surfers or prep cooks all the time.

Wearing hoodies or sweat pants in public is basically telling the world, "I've given up."

That Mike Weir was wearing a hoodie too.

Wonder what he's hooked on?

Ya if I wearin me hoodie it mean I need to head out and find a fix bad

usually for either pizza 🍕 or a cheese steak! 🤣

While we at it, no facial hair or hair ‘reaching the collar of the shirt’ in professional golf either!

*maybe that’s it! Hoodies don’t have collars!! Ok, now it makes sense 😊

I’m still trying to figure out why a hoodie on the golf course, if it’s jacket or sweater weather, would trigger a Pavlovian response.

The $300 rain jacket I needed to buy at Pebble Beach has a hood. I don’t think anyone was upset or ready to hit me with a baton. I just don’t get it.

i don’t need no stinkin’ shift key

Pretty much a damned if you do, damned if you don't situation.  I saw it hundreds of times in my law enforcement career.

Some buddies were gov agency guys, one on GWB's detail when he was in office.  All are now retired, with a few working high profile security.  They "do" and deal with the result after the fact.

Seems everyone has forgotten or didn't know about the guy taken down at phoenix tournament cause he was going for Tiger.  After takedown the officer discovered .38, on the guy, he was carted off, and banned.   This is also the reason Tiger no longer showed up in Phoenix.

From what I read, details regarding the incident were not shared.  The man did what he was trained to do.  I am sure security on the grounds do not know all the players, even if they golf.

If there was more random body checking in golf, it would get far more views.

Having played football for years, and a physical kinda guy, body checking would improve slow play.  LOL
