This was the most difficult vote for me to cast. All season long I've been back and forth between the TR Blue, Speeder NX Blue, and the Vanquish. All three of them perform exactly how I need them to, when I need them to. Even on my lazy swings, the shaft and head combo I run generally bails me out. Had to go with the TR as that's the shaft most often in the bag.

The Ventus Blue was just insanely better for me at a fitting. I actually tried it hoping the hype was just that, and it wouldn’t be worth the upcharge. (I’m a skeptic). My mis-hits were much less penalized and the good hits were as good as anything else we tried. That’s enough right there, but add the amazing feel of smooth but stable and out came the wallet. I fit the blue profile and I’ve had ad-di’s, rogue blacks, blue boards, etc. This one honestly shocked me at being that much better.

Ventus TR Red

Great line extension for the awesome Ventus line.  More stability in the handle, to stabilize the transition so that aggressive swingers can still have a Ventus Red profile shaft.  Great job!

TR Black for driver and Diamana GT for fairway metal.  1K Pro Blue is also a good shaft that's ultra smooth that I had but too soft and went left on me too often.

Speeder NX Blue has done everything I could ask of it. It matches up with my Titleist driver to produce a reliable baby draw with the right ball flight.

I didn't vote, as I haven't really tried much of the current crop of shafts.

Not sure how you could rank any one shaft as the best anyways - I don't think there's any one shaft that's right for everyone.

I will say that HZRDUS gets most improved though with their new RDX series. The previous series felt very boardy and dead to me. The new RDX shafts actually feel really nice (IMO).

To the shaft that changed my long game — Ventus TR Black 6X/7X/8X respectively — I love you. With my aggressive transition, the Ventus Black is just an insane performer… it hangs with me and in general, I have the feeling I can swing as hard as I want and get the same window out of driver with blistering ball speed (for me) that I haven’t seen in other builds. I play Ventus Black TR in 3w (7X) and 5w (8X) with fairway finding long balls, as well as consistent descent angles that hold greens at consistent distances. I also have a utility iron build that is super easy to manipulate trajectory, thanks to Ventus (as a sub for 5w, 9TX).

Fujikura knocked it outta the park with the original Ventus shafts, and in my opinion, topped themselves with the Ventus TR lineup. Creating a shaft that is super stable AND has great feel, some how @Fujikura Golf created that unicorn. Well done.

Not an option, but the TPT power range is great. Very stable and feels amazing. After trying quite a few shafts, some more than once ( looking at you Ventus) the TPT really brought my dispersion in without feeling too boardy.

thank you for the feedback. NX Blue is really solid and definitely adds a bit of dynamic loft and a draw bias for most golfers due to variable torque.

The Ventus and Ventus TR lines are fantastic shafts and I currently play a Ventus TR Black 8 X in my 3 wood, but when I tested a bunch of shafts in the TSR3 driver it was the Tensei 1K Black (one of the TSR stock shafts) which gave me the best performance so I went with the 75 TX (at 44.5") , the 1K Black has a linear and very stout profile which is pretty similar to the Ventus Black but the 1K Black's ball speed was as high as any other shaft but my dispersion was way better and I have never driven the golf ball this well.

Ventus Velocore TR Black 6X for me.

For value, the Aldila NV Green was very impressive to me.

Tried PX HZRDS Gen 4 Black 6.5.  It was pretty good, and I'd probably game it or the Aldila NV if not for the Ventus.

Also tried Kai'Li Blue and White and was not impressed.

Though this wasn't listed as an option (not sure why), Project X Cypher 40 senior flex for both my dad and my wife ... I was also impressed with the smooth stability of this very light shaft when I gave it a swing.
