Probably a vanquish type shaft meant to be 40/50g and played stiff like X or TX or something like that.

This is something different.

I liked the Original Smoke Black and PVD Green and wanted to like RDX Blue, but have no real love for any other PX shaft.  The graphics on this new Denali look pretty fantastic.  Stoked to get my hands on it.

Smoke green hulk and RDX green are the only PX shafts I like.  My brother has the RDX blue and I hate it.  The PX denali better not be a smooth low/low shaft or I'm gonna be pissed, lol.

Sounds like a Diamana TB style shaft 🤷

"The profile of the Denali Blue showcases an EI profile that starts with a stiffer butt section for more stability and confidence that the shaft will keep up. From there, the mid-section is a straight taper concept that seeks to optimize the feel as well as energy transfer as it flows into the mid-stiff tip that is designed specifically to work optimally with the current designs of modern clubheads. According to what we know, the Denali Blue is considered a mid-launch and mid-spin shaft. While some internet golfers may initially guffaw at that aspect, keep in mind this is designed to work with the current trends of club design and to meet needs on Tour, which through initial adoption rates it is more than accomplishing."

Perhaps the next low/low PX shaft will be called the Urus or Cullinan.  😁

Curious if this turns into a new family, mid, low/low shafts coming next?

It’s looking like they will have a black, blue and red of each according to Wunder and his instagram. He posted a clip on his IG this morning saying that

About time they came out with a true mid/mid with a blueboard profile. The RDX Blue was a CB model and they never really had one outside of the made-for shafts in the green/etc profiles.

Denali translation "the high one"

Sounds a little like a OG Ventus Red and TR profile but maybe a softer tip?  I'm convinced anything would look way better in the Paradym head than my TR Red.  Sometimes I think, man there is a lot going on here...especially when the sun hits.  Bright red with sparkles and then all the weave starts popping out of the head!   🤔🏔️

In addition to the initial Blue, there are also Denali Black and Red profiles that haven't broken cover yet.

Maybe they're looking to pick a cage fight with the 500 lb. gorilla that is Ventus. Best of luck to them if that's the case.

“One way which that was done was head to head testing with two of the ‘most popular’ shafts currently on Tour where 75% preferred the Denali. What makes that even more eye catching is that it was a double-blind testing, so the players had no idea which they were picking.”

Yep, definitely whale hunting.
