any word on 2024 Cleveland CBX/RTX?

I'm going to be in the market for a gap wedge to go with my ZX5s on order, and a CBX wedge seems like a perfect option. Before I go out and pick one up, is there any rumors on a new model? I hate the waiting game for this kind of stuff usually, but I can also live without that club if it's only a few months til new stuff is coming. Seems like it's been 2 years since the CBX zipcore has been updated.

New CBX wedges are coming. Pretty similar to the Zipcores but a little cleaner looks and with the new hydro coating the RTX6s have.

I wouldn't be heartbroken if they didn't have that little rubber insert on the next version, I can just imagine all the gunk that will get stuck around that.

 

do you have a source? any idea when these would launch? seems like late winter has been their release cycle in the past.

I'm a Srixon staffer.  Got in just as my rep finished his meeting with my Head Pro but got the quick 5 minute run through as I helped carry bags back to his car.

 

We talked about an early February fitting day to host so I'm guessing late January launch for the new Cleveland stuff which in addition to the CBX wedges there are a couple additional putter models being added to existing lines, new Cleveland woods and irons, and an update to the Q Star ball.

I am in the market for a new sand wedge.  The CBX4 looks like it could be just what I am looking for.

Interested to see how they can improve on the CBX Zips I have. The only possible improvement I can identify on the CBX Zips is to have more heel and trailing edge relief on the lob wedges. Besides that they are damn near perfect….

Improved looks, I don't see that black rubber piece in the cavity, but the cavity looks to be covered up.  These will look better, I bet there is nothing different about them playability wise that is substantial....which is a good thing!

Just bought a full face CBX ZIpcore  58*

And now they are going to come out with a new one

Oh well

 

 

I have a hard time believing they can improve on the CBX Zipcore

But I said the same thing about the CBX 2 and now I have a CBX Zipcore 

Will be on the lookout for this one

I think basically anything "on sale" is probably what's getting refreshed this year:

Just checked a few dates, and they seem to make sense for 2 year cycles to.

 

So I'm guessing RTX Full Face 2 (see thread above), Smart Sole 5, and new CBXs as well.

 

Then next next year should be RTX 7 and CBX Full Face 3
