I’d never hit a Stealth… it feels good.  The sound is much different than my Ping G425, in a good way.  Shaft felt smooth. I’m happy with the purchase.

I was all Taylormade before recently moving to an all Cobra bag with the exception of my Odyssey putter. I just like the Redbull brand and the content with Baja racing and downhill mountain racing. My game has plateaued and ultimately shoot the same scores and that is why I added the comment. To each their own and if you don’t care for it, I don’t mind that either. We all have  our different flavors of ice cream. Same can be said about golf clubs. Funny how we get caught up in attacking or tearing down companies like a Taylormade but crazy thing is, they are still around 😂😂😂

Same here as I left the Stealth 2 Plus for the 50th Anniversary Aerojet with a GD AD IZ 4 shaft as I think when it comes to Limited editions Cobra makes the best looking drivers that can hang with any thing else out there but MYTaylorMade is nice with all the options in colors that you can pick from but not for the asking price.

I'm an F1 fan, but this is a bit gimmicky and gawdy for my tastes.

 

TaylorMade is a big time marketing company, so to see such a collab is not a surprise.

I think it looks great from the top and I like the special edition shaft, grip, and headcover. I like brands trying new things so I grabbed a towel and a shirt. Thought it was a cool collaboration.

I was once reading a newspaper in a public place in a neighborhood with more than its share of street people.  The paper had a magazine insert on Sunday which carried adds for tacky cheap plastic handled pocket knives on the back cover.  A guy approached me and commented on how desirable he found the knife to be.

 

It was sad (that the poor guy would want to buy the crappy knife he couldn’t afford and could never possess because he had no address to which it could be sent) but enlightening because I realized that my own material desires were in essence no different, that my desire for a Blancpain which at that time was advertised heavily in The Economist would be regarded by some people in the same light as I looked with condescension on the desires of the guy living on the street.

I think it looks gaudy/unique/flashy/whatever, which I'm sure was the point.  I'm just surprised that they stayed with the red face.  I know red is part of the color scheme and even in the name of the company with whom they are collaborating with, but it seems like a different face color would have been a great way to differentiate from all of the standard models.  Overall I do like it and I think it's cool that some OEM's are doing these sort of releases.

Jokes aside, I have question for you.  Do the Stealths you have played have a clear, almost wrapper looking coating around the edge of the face?  I’d noticed it and wondered if was something new to help with the breaking issue.  I’ll try to get a close up pic tomorrow.
