Messed around with these at my local Golf Galaxy. It wasn’t too busy so I took a couple over to the putting green. I can see why so many wedges snobs like them. The profile is outstanding, with a nice leading edge.

I had all of the 58°’s in a lineup. Going in, I thought I would gravitate toward the H but, the B grind was my favorite, followed by the E. Their leading edge sat nice and low and did not raise up when opened. Straight and open faced chips with the B were excellent off the tight turf. As someone with a shallow AoA, I think this will be an excellent short game tool.

I like the E quite a bit but the rounded leading edge might have me worried on fuller shots. However, it in a 62° could be deadly.

Just realized they don't offer a 62 E grind. Bummer.

Devastated the Ping don't have the same bounce options as my Vokey SM9 wedges.

I have a 54.08 and 58.04 bounce setup that really works for my shallow swing.

The Ping only have 54.10 and 58.06.

Although it's close, I'm concerned it won't be quite the same and won't have as good results.

Bending wedges is not something I like doing for obvious reasons.

Could be a bit OTT, over two degrees of effective bounce on what appears to be a purely on-paper basis.

Perhaps test them outdoors, if you can, and see how they compare to your gamers in real world conditions.

Yeah, when comparing low bounce options, the only way is off real turf. I'll have to try and find a golf club or driving range that has demo's that I can hit off turf. Not easy to find.

Well I was excited with Ping's new midnight finish. I couldn't wait to order them. I received my wedges today and they are built to the specs I ordered but they are in the chrome finish.  They look nice and something tells me chrome is the better sensible choice anyway. I am on the fence at the moment to keep them or have them ordered again. I ordered them from Dicks and funny my order is only showing my order number and that I ordered two wedges. My build no longer shows up. Luckily I took screen shots of my build.

I second guessed my choice from the start so maybe someone was looking out for me. LOL...My ocd is kicking in though that my order is wrong.

Got my order in a few days ago. Went 50 , 54, 58 all S grind. Was debating about H on the 58 but the S for me just works really well. Went modus 105x soft stepped in the 50 to match my irons. 54 and 58 I went stock shaft. I like the way it feels and to me feels similar to the modus shafts I use. It’s smooth. May change the shafts out later on those two if I want a little more weight. Either modus 115/125 wedge shaft or s400.
The stock shaft (z115) I was getting great launch window and spin numbers so I will test them for a bit.

I ordered 50, 54 and 60H and got the 50 and 54 yesterday, but no 60. I was walking the box up the stairs and thinking "hmmm, seems a little light for 3 wedges"

Ordered Feb 16. Called and they said H is backordered.

I had a fitting at the proving grounds yesterday and got to test the new wedges for a bit. At address I find they look great.

The biggest problem area for me is getting enough height and spin on my 40-70 yard pitch shots. We started with a 54 SW for this, then did 58 LW. W grind and S grind both worked well, contact and turf interaction was great. The H grind dug just a little too much on me. My fitter said the S grind sounded ever so slightly better than the W, so we tested the 54S and 58 S greenside.

The fitter correctly diagnosed some of my chipping issues. He could tell I was hesitant to use the bounce, and said it’s probably from being scared of digging too much. Accurate.

Once I had some time to get used to the S grinds, I really started trusting it. For me, it is versatile enough around the green. I could definitely open it up and go high hands as well.

I’ll be ordering them soon.

Mine are arriving any minute after a fitting less than a week ago (UK).  The S grind is nice and surprisingly adaptable; got 46 and 52 in that. The B grind is very interesting being low(ish) bounce but with quite a wide sole and it felt lovely on pure strikes, although I decided to go W grind in my 58 for the wetter conditions I often play in.

Also got a 62 bent weaker to 64 in the T grind to use when ground conditions and greens are rock solid on the summer evenings when I play a lot of my golf.

I'm like a kid looking out of the window, desperately waiting for the delivery van to arrive!

Went to a store today and they had a stock 60H. Love the shape, I think it'll be worth the wait. Messed around with the 60B a bit and really liked how the leading edge hugs the ground. Thinking it might be a bit like the Vokey Low Bounce K?  Might have to mess around with that one a bit more later in the year. The shape on these really suit my eye. I did pick up a discounted SM9 K grind to tide me over until the 60H arrives.

Took the 58H out for a brisk 9 today with a half set, so used it for all of the shots around the green. The wedge looks perfect down by the ball and is just fun. Not intimidating at all with the face opened up for flop shots. Very impressed so far.

As I said I'm not buying bent wedges for the obvious reasons.

What's the obvious reason? If you didn't want the bounce to change, I could see why you wouldn't want them to be bent. Because you want a specific bounce number, bending the higher lofted heads lets you get there at the playable loft you want lol.

Everything is cast in standard and they bend them anyway in production. So they are bang on with lie and loft based on spec sheet give. Adding or taking off loft is no big deal. I think they cap the adjustments to +/- 2 degrees in the midnight though, maybe because of finish.

I have my 60 bend to orange (2 flat) and 59 degrees, so I can have 1 less degree of bounce. To each their own I guess...

I’m thinking about switching to the b grind myself. It was between the 2 when I ordered the H.

A couple of reasons. For me personally I don't like the idea of spending $330aud for a brand new wedge, and then having to bend it.

It would also bother me that I've spent that amount for a bent wedge that's got a different number stamped on it. A bit of OCD perhaps lol.

Apart from that, changing the loft messes with the offset and the grind. You just don't know what your getting.

In this case I think it's just better to stick with Vokey, who have more stock options to choose from. Ones where I don't have to bend something.

What made you switch from T100 to Blueprint S?

Hopefully we can keep this about wedges.

I hit a lot of full shots today and was surprised at how much I liked the 54W. I don't have the steepest swing, but I seemed to make more consistent contact vs the 54S.

I also spent some time with the 58E vs the 58B. The E is a lot of fun but a little bit looser on harder swings. Also, when you open it up, it really pops the ball up. I found the 58B to be much more consistent and easier to control when opening it up.

Third round done with my 54 e and 58 e. I am loving these wedges. All of my full swings I am sticking my shots inside of 6ft. I have had plenty inside of 3ft.

I love opening up the face on the 58 e. It is very easy to pop the ball over sand traps to pins where I have short sided myself.

I have definitely noticed overall being closer to the pin with my full shots and chipping since I put these in play.

My vote goes to feel and consistency.
