I wish I had the disposable income to cut my 5/7 wood shafts down to 40". Love me some short fairway woods, but pretty much un-re-sellable that short.

Three other putters(one Cobra) and at least another couple drivers and fairways each on the ground behind his bag in that first picture. Rickie is doing some serious testing/ searching it would appear.

Not really.  He drove over from Jupiter and pulled all those clubs out of his bag.  Said the one's in the bag Ould be the one's in play (deciding between the two drivers in the bag)

Can someone please clarify if the measurements on the shaft denote the length of shaft without the head, or if it means total playing length including the head?? Cheers

it does seem as though that Cobra putter is the same length and presumably shape as the jailbird (judging by the headcover), could that mean they are trying to replicate it for him?

Could be but adapter is set to STD°D as well. Nothing wrong with that just shows how more pros even use a draw setup.

Aerojet ls had about a 30 yard fade bias. Only way I could get it to go straight was to have the 12g in heel. Probably the same in thr new since not much is different.

He also plays a very short shaft which flattens the lie. The D setting probably just brings it back to standard lie with a 44" driver.

That I would assume is because he plays his driver so short (43 7/8") meaning it would also sit much flatter. But you're right, plenty of pros do have draw biased setups. Bryson is a pretty extreme example of that.

Yep. I finally hit aerojet with my gamer shaft. I'm a fader. 12g toe and every shot was so far right it would be in homes on courses without homes. Put that 12g in heel and pounded balls with little side spin. 

 

That aerojet ls is exactly what you'd expect from a driver with all that weight forward.

You're telling me you don't have one extra shaft at home to cut down?? I think you do enough volume to be a Tour AD wholesaler at this point. 😂

 

I have a TP cut down to 40.5" in my 5 wood. It's sweet!

41.5 is my shortest wood - and my shaft policy is 1 in 1 out at this point 😂

Its what I play at and I am 6-3”. Makes it so much easier!
