i aint no way saying im at his level but i go from my 2W 13.5° to a 21° UW cause the 19° gets too close to the 2W. I carry it 235y the UW is just freakishly long and hot

I think you linked the wrong video above, but otherwise yeah....I can get 5w ball speeds off the 19* but with lower spin which = more distance.

I mean if you're a grown adult and havent figured out how corporate marketing works yet im not sure what to say. Every golf OEM does this and every product industry. I could have told you the Apex iron adoption was going to be slim to none just based on previous cycles.

So I know its posted somewhere but can't find it.  Can someone clarify the bending options for UW pls at time of order via Callaway or with another vendor afterwards or share the link.  My apologies upfront for asking.

Curious to hear a little more detail on this.  I know everyone is different, but I love learning more about other experiences.  Did they grab on you?

every shot felt thin, even though it wasn’t. I actually shot 4/10 best rounds of the year with them, all sub 70’s and still wasn’t happy.

The ‘21 TCB, right? I’ve read mixed reviews on here. What was your take? My speed is slower than you but probably above average.

I have the new apex in a combo cb/mb and they are going to be traded in soon.. not a fan. I really wanted to like them. 
 

I think the sole is extremely flat. I have looked at them side by side with the previous years apex and there is way less camber.

no mixed reviews about the 22 TCB, they were the best irons Callaway produced for their Tour Staff, they never had higher adoption of a single iron.

Agreed. Not sure what they did differently, but I’m more a fan of trailing edge relief than leading edge. The best thing I did was move off the CB’s in lieu of the 23’ T100, but if I had a choice I would go original TCB over pretty much anything.

Sorry meant mixed reviews on here. By the WRX crew not on tour. Clearly was a winner for those guys.

The original TCBs spin like crazy for me. I can’t play them. Like 8000 + with a 7 iron. The 21 apex MBs did better for me.

Same here. Easy to hit, great dispersion…. But couldn’t live with the 34 degree 7 iron flying 150 due to excessive spin.

This is the bag. Still trying the 11 irons and a 5 in the new apex.but I think that test is coming to an end soon.
