I could be completely spit balling here but theres also a chance he isn't hitting the ball as far post back surgery and needs the stronger loft to get the distance back (just so he can hit the same numbers he's been used to for so long)

I don’t love the brick shaft and tsr2 vs the 3 he was gaming. He drove it so well in the us open he barely lost…don’t get it. 661 tr & tsr3 was 🔥
 

If he’s dfl with the broomstick again in strokes gained putting that thing has gotta go. He was brutal at hero brutal at Sony with it. I want 2022 Willy z back 😭

I remember when he was at his peak he talked about how nice going to a 46 inch driver was for gaining distance. Now he's down to 44.5. Hope he can get some of his confidence back!

Cool to see a Tour pro using the T150’s! Quite the surprise when he turned up last week with them. Pulling for Willy Z to get back to where he was.

I think the original comment was meant to touch on the fact that the PW in the T150s is 44 degrees. It would be a bit odd to go 44* PW to a 50* GW. I could be wrong, though.

I'm no tour pro, but I go straight from the 44* T150 PW to a 50/54/58 setup.  This gives me approx 10-12 yd gaps between all of them.  YMMV

No number on the sole.  I wonder what it looks like at address…  I don’t hate the look of the 350 behind the ball and the speeds were excellent.

I think Titleist had a reel on Instagram, his T350 is a 3 iron (which isn't available to the public at the moment)...

 

It has me contemplating going with a 20* 4 iron with a set of T150s from 5-PW. 🤔

Crazy to see a talented ball-striker like Will using some player's distance irons. Seems like as time goes on, the player's iron category is slowly taking over for the MBs. Makes no sense to be giving up the forgiveness these clubs can offer without sacrificing top-line view. Also curious to see how long he keeps up with the broomstick, he didn't putt much better with it at Hero World Challenge

I've been looking to add either the T200 Utility 3I or U505 3I to swap in for my 3 Hybrid.  Curious how much more forgiving the T350 is compared to either of those.

Each of these changes seem to be adding a touch higher launch to me.  it would make sense that the 350 and 150s are bent back a bit.  in my brief experience with 150/100 they irons launched pretty close so 150s -2 would launch a bit higher than the 100s at the same loft.?

I really like my u505 (previous version) despite the chunk, although a slimmer 350 would be prettier.  I alternate it with my 3 hybrid depending on the course.  I came from an older Fli Hi 2 iron (18*) and I think the u505 is easier to hit from the fairway or a good lie in the rough.
