Anti-left 225 yard hybrid

LowDime

TSR3 works great for me. It's also probably more on you looking in the mirror and making a good swing if every hybrid goes left

Shaft can play a huge role here too, for me Ventus Black HB 9TX is as anti left as they come. Obviously you have to put a good swing on it but very hard to lose to the left with this shaft and it launches a mile in the air

Mavrik Pro, i've tried every "anti-left" hyrbid over the last 10 years and it's by far been the best for me.

Most hybrids create an optical illusion.  If you reference the top line,  the face will be closed.     People that hook hybrids and clubs with more offset,  more often than not,  set them up closed.    Just some food for thought.

This has been my experience as well.  Line up the bottom line.  NOT the top.  Can be tough when the lowest scoring line still appears high on the face.

Moreover, IME, the Ping G430s require a more upright feel (I have the sleeve as flat as it will go) than the TSR2 hybrids.  Still a sea-skimming missile, and very fast for as long as it is (contends with my 42" 5-wood) but is a much different feel to get it to work vs the TSR2.

I likely shouldn't respond to this---it's late---but, as one of the more frequent emoji-responders (call it a holdover from Teams calls), the "Confused" emoji tag is one of the more irritating.  If you have a question about what I've written, ask it.  It's a discussion board, after all.  I'm happy to explain what I mean.

Apex Pro with the Ventus Black HB was the most anti-left hybrid for me.  A shorter and heavier HB shaft will tends to help mitigate the left miss for me.  In order to compensate for swing weight, add lead tape to the sole.

The original UW in 21* is worth trying to replace the 7 wood.  Seems about as anti-left as a hybrid gets.  The newer version is a bit more upright I think.

UW for sure- the OG was a little low spin for me, but the new UW at 21* and custom ordered to a degree flat and weak is a home run!

In my experience, Titleist’s “player’s” model hybrids have always been anti left, and the best in the business. At least since Taylormade destroyed Adams Golf. As a high swing speed player, I have always fought left with a hybrid. Especially off the tee. Titleist H2, Tsi3, and Tsr3 have been exactly what I needed. Tsi3 had been my favorite of the bunch until I cracked the face mid season last year. Titleist replaced it with a Tsr3 because the Tsi3 wasn’t in stock anymore, and it was just as good after dialing in the right shaft.

I'm a big fan of the Ping G430 hybrids in the Flat Minus setting. My G430 5 Hybrid is set to flat minus (26*@25*) and for me goes ~230 carry/245 total. Using it as a 4i replacement

I agree with @Pepperturbo, look at shafts. For me, heavy, short, low-torque, and stout allows me to swing with full confidence, and no left miss. A controlled draw is possible, and often desirable, though. For heads, yep, Titey players have always been great, from 585H to TS series (TS2 current fave). C1 setting for max open. I'm enjoying VS Proto in 95X right now - very low torque keeps it straight, softer low-mid section lets me work it. Previous Tour Green 105TX in an Adams 9031 head was more anti-left, but a little less versatile.

I always recommend the Ping hybrids.  The G425 for me has been an excellent addition to the bag and I went from hating hybrids years ago to absolutely loving this thing.  Its smooth and easy to hit.  I typically hit nice high cuts with it and other times i close the face a hair and hit a more penetrating straight shot. It changed my feelings toward hybrids as a whole,  definitely worth checking out!!!

Strange, all woods go right for me, be it driver, fw or hybrid. I change my right hand position to counter it.

Anyway, try the TM m1 from 2017. Sliding weight really works (I keep it neutral as you can see, so if i want it to go right, i have a chance by keeping both hands in neutral position). Head adjustable so you can dial in your distance:

Haven´t read all the comments so i guess i might be repeating what someone allready said.. sorry about that if it´s the case.

But the main reason people struggle with hybrids and missing them left (don´t mind the ones with huge offset) is because allot of them have very upright lie angles.. For me at least testing the ones that have the flattest lie angles are the best way to make the shots anti left. A few worth mentioning that have worked well for me is the Mizuno CLK, the newer Ping models with the adapter in flat setting or Titleist hybrids in the flat setting. Titleist are the best in my mind (for me), since you can alter loft and still have the face set open, regardless if you go up or down in loft.

Interesting. i think the upright lie angle is why I hit hybrids better than fairways. More like irons. If I could get hybrid setup in a FW or DR, I'd be a happier camper!

The PXG Black Ops hybrid is outstanding. Highly adjustable, super easy to hit a fade or a draw with it. Solid feel. I just put the 22 in the bag and it has been very impressive. I enjoy it.

Still have my Mavrik Pro 23 and a 2021 19 degree Apex that battles my 7 wood for playing time. None of these hybrids I have show any left bias.

A pro once told me hybrids will fool you and a lot of players line up hybrids on the toe side of center and don’t know it, inviting the left spinning shot. His tip was line it up what appears to be inside center so that’s what I do. Seems to align better.

I asked this question years ago, someone said Mizuno MP 650 hybrid and they weren't wrong.

I have a full set - 22, 19 & 17 which I still game and have no reason to change.

Always have the 22 in the bag and switch the 19 and 17 depending on time of year or course conditions.

No idea if the current or more recent Mizuno hybrids have the same characteristics or any advantage but why not try the 650s - a cheap ebay experiment - you may be surprised like I was!

Hello Fellow Wrx's.  I am looking for suggestions for an anti-left 4-5 hybrid to replace 4 iron that i can carry 215-225.  I have yet to find a hybrid i can hit that does not go left. 13ish handicap.  I have a sim 7 wood that either goes 220 or 250 so need something more consistent

You very well may have an over the top swing that is causing the "lefts."

I've found the Ping iCrossover to be much better for me than a hybrid ... I feel like I can pretty much hit it with the same ease/solidness of contact and it's easier to control.  I've also heard the Callaway UW (the prior generation to the current one) was particularly non-left-bias, though I haven't tried it myself.  It was going to be next on my list to try if the iCrossover didn't work.  It's working ... YAY (for now).

Sorry but as far as I can tell the properties a hybrid might possess which might make it easier to hit 225 yards than a long iron are precisely those properties which tend to make them go left.

Exactly. Shorter, steeper, heavier. Same reason even a lot of pros tend to pull their short irons.
