First episode was excellent but I'm like another poster, I'll wait until the whole series is out so the wife and I can watch the whole thing some weekend. Really great first episode though.

 

FWIW I am pretty sure I read an interview with the director - or maybe the producer - and they said that it would be one season because there was no written material to support more and they were thrilled with how it went.

It's 2024. We've been masters at multitasking for years. 

 

Also, with streaming or timeshifted recordings, if I miss something, I'll rewind it and watch it again. The rewind buttons on my remotes get plenty of use.

@Argonne69: I've resisted watching Shogun ... i.e. waiting for the series to finish its run, then can binge-watch (rather than an episode per week)

 

Have been watching youtube "spoiler-free" reviews, to temporarily scratch the itch

And I really hope its the only season. They've said it would be bc there is no written material to support another season - but this season has just been so good, put a good bow on it and walk away.

She is an incredible actress.  Regardless of her looks, she is just so powerful.

She was lead singer in a group about 7-8 years ago when i lived in japan. made it to a lot of talk and entertainment shows. she quit to focus on acting.
