That short of a putt - hit it firm - back of the cup. It moved quite a bit meaning he didn't think it would break and it clearly did.  Poor read.

Good bounce back by J-Tizzle so far after missing the cut at the Genesis. If he keeps playing like he has, I could see him being in the mix in at least one major this year.

My strategy is to drop a lot of names as potential major challengers and then just remember the ones that were correct.

 

Same thing with jokes. Make a lot of them and hope at least some are actually funny.

My take is that the expectations are getting under his skin. Start every event thinking you’re one of the favorites and as soon as something goes sideways he gets frustrated and the mistakes keep piling.

Does Bones charge JT hourly for the therapy sessions before every tee shot? Put him also in the “slow as hell” camp.

I turned on ESPN+ right when the Spieth and Xander duo were teeing off on 13.  15 minutes later Xander is finally hitting his 4th shot, after taking relief from a sprinkler head and getting a perfect lie.  Then hit one short into the rocks, and spending forever trying to figure out where to drop for his penalty shot.  Now Xander spending twice the allowable time to make his first putt.   

 

Just painful how slow the pace is.

Agreed there are times when things should go a bit quicker. However, there are times when a ruling is needed. Never seems to be a rules official when needed.  Ball hunting. Taking the shoes off and drying the feet after hitting it out of the water. etc. etc.

 

Like I've been known to say, If it's not one thing it's your Mother...

 

And, these shots, each and every one of them mean something. Might mean the difference of making a cut, keeping your card...

Having Bones on the bag would drive me nuts. IMO, talks waaay to much. Surprised JT must prefer it.
