The only mud balls in my group today were on 18, given that fairway is a low point. 
 

The course has dried out quite nicely. LCP today would have been a joke. Yesterday was kinda 50/50, I didn’t see any mud balls but intimately there’s 4/5 holes that sit well below the high point of the property

The course wasn’t that saturated. The issue is balls pitching and coming out of their pitch marks since it’s started to firm up some

Yep, sometimes they'll have lcp in anticipation of bad weather. Are they playing lcp today?

tpc deere run is a course that isn't tough for pga tour. i do believe i break par over 4 days

I'm starting to think I prefer the ESPN+ Main Feed commentators over the main NBC commentators the more tournaments I watch. The slightly more quiet "morning voice" is way nicer to listen to

The reason you don't see a portion of the better players is because of the timing of the tourney with the tourneys on the other side of the pond the following two weeks.  Hard to play in an event and then fly over and prepare, shake the jet lag and be ready to play two weeks in a row, One of them being a major.

I much prefer the ESPN+ team.  I’m watching the John Deere right now and Dottie Pepper and Ian Baker Finch just can’t shut up.  They just run their mouths non-stop.  Why do the producers think that we need constant commentary when we’re watching golf?  It’s not like we’re watching brain surgery and need someone to explain what’s happening, nor is it an action sport where we need play by play.  It’s a glacial sport that we all play on a weekly basis.  Please, NBC, get these folks to shut up for just 30 seconds once in a while.

This course is home to the loudest birds I have ever heard.  I am sitting on the back porch of the clubhouse here and the broadcast birds are louder than the real ones.

I think they tried dead-air productions, which didn't work for the other two to three million fans who also watch. Most don't pay close attention to the announcers. For most, in my opinion, they're just white noise.

 

I rather enjoy the banter between Dottie and IBF, but that's just me.

This is absolutely like a KF tournament. If you don't realize it I don't know what to tell you. It has zero to do with crowd sizes or tv schedule too.

2 - players with personality
