Paint fill 101

I felt like I needed an extra hand to do it. I used extra toothpicks to block the paint from running from letter to letter.

I did this yesterday. It was pretty tricky and I don't think I will do it on the rest of the clubs but figured it was worth a shot.

I was pulling my hair out during my sloppy hack job so I can only imagine how tedious your paint fill was.

I pulled as much stock paint as I could with out the Tal Strip (will be getting some tomorrow to finish up) as they sit in my bag I'm really starting to like the non filled look though.

I do have a clover stamp. Could always just to an "S" stamp then strike through it with an "I" stamp... D13 looks sharp by the way, well done!

First ever paint fill. Your guys thoughts on it? and I got some air bubbles a couple times anyone got any reasons why?

Put some new life in my vokeys. These have been around the block once or twice.

Disclaimer: I completely stole OP's design... I was planning to change it up, but when I started playing around my brain kind of froze and I ended up copying it almost exactly.

Stripped clean... What an awesome look. Would have kept it this way if I didn't already buy the paint (was cheap, only $3/color... but I am cheap)

The toughest part for me was the cleanup, actually. The first one I cleaned came out (almost) perfectly... so naturally, the other two came out a bit sloppier- particularly the "middle" section with the BV, where the design has 3 different colors in a (relatively) tight space.

Ended up using nail polish for the white because the person I bought the paint from sent the wrong color - but it looks solid. If it needs replacing, it needs replacing.. wouldn't mind doing it again. Probably could have picked an easier job for the first try.

Now, the question is... What do I do with these bad boys? I'd like to keep them a bit understated, maybe just a bit of white on the numbers/mizuno logo/text?

Tamiya Paint is soooo easy to remove.. You barely got to put any pressure to get it to come off. Nail polish is a pain.

I was just worried that I would take off too much and only wanted to take off the "surface" paint, so I was going reeeeeeally light for as long as I could bare it... And then went overboard a bit.

harborfreight.com for my letters/numbers set. For the specialty stamps, just do a Google search under the "Shopping" tab.

golfmonster, it is more work than is needed but not a crazy amount of work. the big contributing factor is the fact that it gets dark at 5pm and my wife was working from 6pm-6am so I thought i'd give the spray can model paint a try. all in all it's looking alright but i'll wait til their done to put updates up. The color I used last night was dark green metallic from BOYD paints and they will be getting finished off with black metallic from BOYD paints.

BIG PROBLEM!
Okay I redid my 52 degree and Pitching wedge Number/Letters on sole of club and let sit for 24 hours removed the excess paint and then about another 24 hours and I go hit on the range and the paint is coming off??? I'm using Tamiya Paint also. The same the guy who started this thread recommended, any thoughts?
