It's nice to see someone that could "ho" to the fullest with all the latest Titleist gear playing some pretty basic stuff and a bit old to boot! It just goes to show it's the Indian not the arrow. Of course it's much more fun to ho. Maybe if you knew you could have anything the fun is taken out of ho'in.

Titleist irons, especially the blades in recent years (660, 670, 680, 690MB, 690.MB, 710MB) have been marked by a difference in sole design, topline, and muscle placement. So, if you were Peter Uihlein (or Webby or Chris Kirk) and the 680's fit you perfectly, it would be tough to switch. If I were Titleist, I wouldn't care. Average Joe Q Public looks in the bag and sees Titleist headcovers and Titleist blades. They don't look in and see that they're 680s like you and me do. If they were playing like 822OS or something older that looks nothing like what's being made today, I might push them into something current.

Obviously in Peter's case he has clubs that work for him, so why switch? A lot of club ho'ing is basically golfers trying to buy a game by constantly switching to something new. Also some "keeping up with the Jones" can be in play. It would be "humiliating" to show up with old equipment when you go out with your buddies with all the latest stuff... Without those reasons the OEMs would be out of business. In Peter's case he has game and doesn't need to change equipment to "improve" his game.

I saw him play yesterday at the Georgia Cup at the Golf Club of Georgia. Has the exact same bag setup as pictured above. The greens were set up like Augusta and he dam near made everything he looked at. Hits it a mile too. If he can keep himself together, might do OK at Augusta.

I thought it was and then corrected that it's a Pittards grip that Scotty Cameron uses for some of his Tour putters.

Haha, it feels a bit bad that he doesn't even know what he is using when he has such nice clubs... I mean, they would be any freaks dreamset. I want to believe in "If it ain't broke then don't fix it" but I really can't. I love switching everything but I think that I am going to stay with what I have for a while when I get my blades, my new 3wood and probably my new hybrid....

He's pretty much remained the same as the other pics in this thread. I think he updated his driver and fairway to the 913 series, and may have put in new wedges. His irons and putter are still the same though.

been watching him were possible in europe and really like his game. think he is playing; 913d3 8.5 fuji motore speeder tour spec 7.2 x, 913f 13 with v2 96x, 712u driving iron 19*, 680mb's 3-pw nippon modus but don't know the model?! custom vokey 50, 56 and 60 tour issue s400. then its custom scotty 1.5 of some kind?!

cool set up and really like the way he plays the game! if he can keep it up think he will start to win quite consistently around the world.
