With Dad running Titleist, he could be bagging any of their clubs, and he choses 909 D3 (8.5* to reduce spin) and older model irons.

Guess if they work, no sense in changing.

That is a really sweet bag, especially the putter. I know he has connections and everything, but a Cam&Co GSS? I am so jealous - I've always wanted one, and can't necessarily afford $5000 for a freaking PUTTER.

Love the older stuff in the bag, and I bet that P95 shaft is pretty sweet. Probably couldn't launch it enough in a 3 wood - might make a good 5 wood shaft!

The GSS haven't been $5000 for some time now. Edging closer to $6000 and higher depending on the model... Haven't seen any on Table Rock for some time and they used to always have 5-6. Not even in the used tour department where they would occasionally get some. Nothing close in feel if you can withstand the price and of course hide them in a plain black cover.

Look at the PX 2 iron shaft, the logo is like almost worn off. He obviously believes in "if it ain't broke don't fix it" because he could have a new set of MBs custom made every week if he wants but he doesn't which is actually pretty cool. Although I bet he has never spent a dime on a golf club in his life.

The 909 D3 spins more than the 910 D3, but he's rocking an 8.5* loft. With that loft, maybe he needs a bit more spin. And, going to a 9.5* in the 910 D3 probably doesn't give him the trajectory he likes.

OR, maybe he just doesn't care to change from a set of clubs in which he has confidence.

I thought that the 909 series spun less..? Regardless, that 8.5 head on the D2 is a pretty low spinner.
