My best to date has been & still is a Razr Fit 8,5, Fubuki K 70x, 45,5 D6 & absolutely bomb it with more fairways found than any other combo. Also have newer combos with premium shafts at D3 45" & just can't get consistent with them. Got a Fubuki K 70x at 45,25" for my 815 DBD on Thursday, fitted it with two 5g weights in the head, have not swing weight tested yet but feels close to my RF combo +-d4/6. Took it to the range yesterday, OMG, was really gonna give up on this driver until now, was killing it & had my RF confidence with it. Gonna do some back to back testing to confirm! For some reason my swing likes d5/6 SW!

TM M5 10.5 turned down to about 9 to give a little fade bias. Evenflow black 6.5x 75 g.

I went with this one because the fitting data showed the best results. I'm one to rely more on the quantitative results rather than subjective feel arguements. Subtle changes of the weights allowed me to increase the spin enough to reduce the knunckling effects.

Original one 13.5* turned down to 11.5* with Tour AD IZ 7 43.5”. Hands down was the best set up for me in the fitting. I wanted to go straight 11.5* but everything went straight left due to path and face angle at impact. Going 13.5* -2* straightened that out. Face progression looked funny at first but I’m well past that now.

Callaway Epic Flash 12* Px Even Flow Green 55/5.5

Slower swinger. Avg drive about 230. Need launch but fight a hook.

I play it at +1/D/weight in full fade. 45” D0 swing weight. Like how the D setting increases the lie angle. Probably the most anti left driver I’ve tried. I still play a baby draw with it but don’t fight snap hooks anymore.

Cobra King F7+ with HZRDUS yellow 63 6.0 untipped at 44". Swingweight is D5 with a 12 gram weight in the rear port and a 16 gram weight in the forward port. This thing is a sledgehammer and I love it. I've got it lofted up to 10.5° as well, but may try it at the 9.5° setting to reduce over hooking, since lofting up also closes the face a bit. This is the best feeling and sounding driver I've hit in a long while, and it's also very accurate and easy to swing.

Ping g400 max 9° playing at 44.5” with HZRDUS smoke black 6.5 flex, D6 swing weight. Love the forgiveness of the head, shaft drops spin and is stout enough to discourage my hook. I also like an extra heavy swing weight as I tend to get the club head out in front so it helps me to slow it down and lag the clubhead more. I think there are longer set ups but my main focus is staying in the fairway so I’ll sacrifice the 5-10 yards

Since I've been playing less frequently, I've gone to a 43" driver.

70 weight shaft (Matrix Black Tie 7M3, stiff tipped 1/2")

TEE XCG7 Beta 10.5 degree head (set to 11.5) - lead tape applied to back of head to get SW at D5.

---

For shorter courses, I've gone even shorter

42.75" driver - wishon 919THI 13* (460 cc head)

Matrix Black Tie 7M3 stiff (untipped in this build - not optimal)

Swing weight at D5.

----

I used an untipped Accra Tour Z ST 75 M4 in a 13* fwy head (TEE EX9 Long) and liked it, so next

will be to test same shaft in a wishon 919THI or TEE driver head at 43-43.5"
