I tried and liked the most tour ad vr. Hit the new Accra shaft, tour ad tp which I liked as well very good shaft. Didn’t get a chance to hit the new Fuji shaft. The f9 with tour and vr is a killer combo mid ball flight low spin long and long

I tried a few stock shafts and the HZRDUS Smoke 3 wood length shaft was the best, but......I ordered the driver with a Tour AD IZ 7x at 44 1/4".. I get on very well with the IZ in my fairways and got a good deal with a custom shaft so I went for it. Time will tell.

I have tried the Fuji Atmos Tour Spec blue and black. Hzrds smoke as well. Went with the Atmos Black. Best feel/numbers for me. Would like to try a Tour AD though.

I started w/ the Atmos Tour Spec Blue 6s but I ordered it long so that I could tip it.  I ended up tipping it a 1/2" to see if I could bring down the flight a little since it felt a little loose.  I also took an extra tip and shafted up a Fujikura 661 Evo II and so far am liking it more.  I had to drop the loft down to 8* w/ the Atmos but was able to keep in on 9* w/ the Evo II.  Since I play a fade I prefer not having the face being extra open.

Atmos TS7 blue suprized me in the F9 fairway. Took out my trusted ADDI7 that has been in the bag for years. It will be battling for the driver shaft spot next, currently have an EVO II that I just flat out preforms.

I didn’t care for the Smoke as much as I thought I would. I preferred the TS Black from a overall feel and performance standpoint.  But neither outperformed the EVO. Cobras stock offerings this year are outstanding.

I demoed the F9 9* with the Smoke. It felt very good and that club is definitely a bomber. Has anyone tried the Tensei Pro Orange in the F9?

I have a pro orange in mine. Feels great.  Mid-flight low spin laser beams for me.  I played on Monday.  It was my first time this season, so my swing was very inconsistent.  I’d hit a few great drives and then a big loopy hook.  Good drives were very long and straight or a little cut.  Playing mine at 45” and had to add 8g to clubhead in order to play at D2-D2.5.  Total headweight is 206g.

I am looking to test this combo out and I was concerned with the stock head weight and the swing weight with that shaft. Were you able to find heavier replacement weights for the head or did you use lead tape? I also play my driver right at 45". I like my driver SW heavier at D4-D5 so I'd have to really add some weight for that shaft to work. Then again, might be worth messing around with different SW first since its a totally different profile than what I currently play.

Also, to the OP, not trying to hijack the thread. Figured this would be good information for anyone looking at this shaft too.

UST Helium F3 for me, was really surprised with this one. Went with it on a whim based on reviews and alike swing speeds. Easily as accurate as my Graphite Design AD DI-6 while being consistently longer. I know its a little lighter as well though and I am probably in the correct flex now too.

Figured this would be good information for anyone looking at this shaft too.I bought weights directly from Cobra.  I’d imagine that golfworks would have them at some point in near future.  I’m playing it at 45” with the cobra connect grip.  That whole grip setup weighs a lot and further counterweights the driver-also adds 1/4 inch.  If I pulled that grip and put a regular grip on, it would play 44.75 and probably still play d2-d2.5.  I’d imagine playing it at 45” with a regular grip and a 206 headweight would net you a D3+ swingweight.  I got my head to 206 with the 14g and 10g weights.  You could always go 18g and 10g or 14g weight if you needed to add a bunch more weight.

Decided to go with ATMOS TS 6S.  It just felt very nice.  I figured that I would put in one of my DI 6S shafts but so far I’m just finding this very easy to load and transition for slight draws or fades.  Will stick with it for now.

what's your driver SS?

I'm swinging between 100-105mph depending on how the back feels.

I see you have the Atmos Blue in your fairway wood.  Did you try the Atmos Blue in the driver at all?  If so, how did it compare?  What is your swing speed?  I have the Accra Tour 90i in my irons, so I bet we're fairly similar in speed.

Did you notice any difference in stiffness tipping the atmos?

Honestly not really.  I'd say it firmed it up just a little bit but by the time I added back in the weight I lost to bring the swingweight back up it wasn't that much difference.  1/2" isn't that much though really.  1" might have made more difference.

So happy with the current set up haven't thought about it. I even have an Atmos Blue shaft at home but it's a stiff flex.

BTW, love the Accra iron shafts as well. I tried the 80's and the 90's but they were a little light and my dispersion was much better with the 100i's.

Does the 3 wood come with tour spec blue shaft? I want the 7s but when I look online most. Pictures are of a normal. Atmos blue 7s not the tour spec one. Or it does t have tour spec written in it??
