What has Tiger been working on with the swing?

Anyone that can see what Tiger has changed in the swing that got Haney so excited he picked Tiger to win this week? Tiger did not want to tell what he had been working on at the presser

Not sure but maybe he went back to gripping it more in the palm the way Haney wanted him to according to his book:

"So I told Tiger, "Look, I just want to show you something. Just keep an open mind and try it for me, OK?" He looked at me skeptically. I demonstrated the grip I wanted him to try, then put his left hand on his 5-iron and showed him how I wanted him to hold the club more in his palm. He immediately said, "I can't do this." I quickly said, "Yeah, I know it feels weird, but just try it." He took the new grip, placing his right hand also with more of his palm, and waggled the club. "There is no way," he said. And just like that, he did. He used the grip the next two rounds at Dallas, and though he shot 70-69 to finish in a tie for fourth, he never complained about it. It was the fastest Tiger ever accepted any change I ever proposed to him, and the astounding thing is that it was probably the biggest change we ever made. Even though it was a grip that cost him some distance because it slightly restricted his hand action, Tiger never complained about the sacrifice and continued to hold the club more in the palm the entire time I coached him. The whole weird way it happened remains improbable to me and is a good example of how Tiger was simply different. Time for Tiger to go to Perkins.......bring back the magic.

His magical medical defying back fusion is showing why most people don't play with a fused back.  Getting one more major may have been that final magic bullet ala Jack at Augusta.  We shall see.  Trust me, he isn't so much better that he forget being unable to get out of bed without pain killers.  He will not push things and when he can't practice as much, he's not going to be sharp.

I’m thinking Tiger shoots a smooth -20 this week.  

He's still driving the ball long enough.  Driving accuracy was similar to DJ, 70% greens in regulation, not bad, the problem right now is the putter.  

Hope he figures it out in time for Winged Foot and Augusta.

His  proximity to the hole isn't great. He is at 37'4" which is worse than average. His SG around the green is negative. His putting hasn't been good either but he goes from 84% inside 10' to 26.53% from 10-15'. So there are a lot things not going right for TW.

Right now TW is playing very mediocre golf for him which is why he is sitting at #57 with "only" $2M in the bank this year in six events.
