I'm not a huge fan of spikeless, casual, or Jordan-type golf shoes (even though I played tons of basketball growing up).

 

I'm just glad Nike is also releasing spiked sport golf shoes in the same vein as the Lunar Control series (see here (about 3/4 down the page)).

 

At least I hope they are!

 

Those are the Lunar Fires (already out). Jhonny Vegas wears them every week.

 

Ah. Thanks for the heads up. I'm a bit behind on equipment and shoe releases (the horror!)

 

At least they're offering options, which is a good thing. I'll have to compare the Fires with the Command 2 at some point, but right now I still like my Lunar Control 2s.

I'm a fan of the "ghost camo" but I don't understand why the toe guard has the split in the middle.

 

luckily those of you who are throwing up are probably in a minority. my guess is that these shoes will sell fine. not my cup of tea, but different strokes for different folks... and I personally love the toe swoosh on the LC4 and the LCV (1)

I like them, although I'd probably prefer a light grey over white because it'd be easier to keep clean.

 

I know most of the old fogies hate it, but I like what Nike and Puma are doing for golf attire, especially footwear. Not everyone wants to wear the same plain Jane all-white or all-brown spikes.

I'd rather wear a tennis shoe style shoe than a dress shoe style shoe playing golf any day of the week.

 

My fav and most comfortable shoe I've ever played in are my all white LC Vapor's.

Never worn anything Nike although they endorse some of my favorite golf athletes. The Lunar Control Vapor was going to be my first foray into Nike gear accompanied by some apparel. Looks like JL, RLX, and Adidas shoes will continue getting my patronage.

I have a white pair. They are really comfy. Don't reallly like the look of the shoe on my feet. They look like they're 3 sizes to big!

Despite being in my late 30's, I really like these. The swoosh is also back to where it should be, on the side of the shoe, not the toe, which looks shi!te.

I believe the original catalog from 2017 listed them as 11/15 but I think others have said sometime around 11/1
