What clubs are you looking forward to in 2019?

New F9 one length for sure. Hope someone else comes out with 1 length but doubt it.

I’ll try the F9 one length but not sure about the different shaft weights, I’m guessing their graphite is one weight.

I’ll probably stick with my f7, I have steel in one set and need to reshaft the other to graphite. Also throwing a set of f max one length in the pile after hitting them.

Maybe I’ll try the f9 driver, loved my encore sl, played that for years, great driver.

Also maybe f9 hybrid one length but love my rogue x but they are rather large.

Looking forward to seeing what Titleist comes up with for the 720 AP2’s. I’ve owned every version so far!

Also may like to pick up a set of 718 T-MB’s when the new ones come out. Only need 5-9, as I already have the 3 & 4 irons, and I play a Vokey SM7 pitching wedge (46 degree).

Guess I’m the only person interested in Titleist based on previous responses?

I'm interested in Titleist as well.

I'm going to commit to my 718 CB/MB combo for at least another full season (although there may be a shaft swap in the works) but am interested in the following as a long time Titleist player.

Will the AP3 survive? If it goes, will they move AP2 back toward the 714 series in terms of launch and such since CB is now more or less the same playability in a slightly smaller head? What change will come with the 820 hybrids? The 818 H1 is nearly perfect for me but would love to see it be just a skosh smaller. I'd love to see Vokey release a 50 and/or 52 degree wedge with either 10 degrees of bounce or a small-moderate amount of relief on the heel.

It is crazy how much hate "dragonfly"/"turbulator tech gets.

The reality is that IMO, most people do not understand the benefits and some may not need them. Reducing the drag slightly in a golf swing will likey not provide a major increase in swing speed. But where reducing the drag in the golf swing provides the most benefit is the ability to hold the highest speed in your swing for a longer period of time by slowing the rate of deceleration. So if you have near perfect tempo, dragonfly will not help much if at all. But if you are like most amateur golfers with varrying tempo from swing to swing, then dragonfly can actually be helpful if your swing speed peaks before contact.

numbers? I just wanna see reduced drag numbers then I'll leave it alone.

I want justifications for the things they spend money on their r& d and marketing department to come up with.

I

With dragonfly and turbulators the Ping G driver had 37% less drag than the G30. Another important aspect to dragonfly tech was that the ridges reinforced the top of the driver making it so that the rest of it could be thinner and lighter(random thought...maybe this is why TM and Callaway drivers have had recent issues with cracks in the crown and I have not heard of the same issue with newer Ping drivers?)....

So reduced drag, and a reinforced thin crown so that weight could be moved lower and further back.....It may not be everyone's cup of tea asthetically, but it does seem to offer several benefits.

ping drivers have been cracking also.

and theres a different CG, head size, paint types between those drivers

"The G400 drivers also have Turbulators, or raised portions on their crowns, that sit directly behind the face. They have been thickened up, and dots have been added to the back of the crown. Neither of these changes have any aerodynamic qualities, but improve the look of the drivers, according to Ping."

http://www.golfwrx.com/458166/ping-claims-smaller-is-better-with-its-new-g400-drivers/

They are saying that the changes they made to the original dragonfly and newly redesigned turbulator do not make it any more aerodynamic than the original. But they still stand behind the benefits of the tech.

They are literally saying "thickening up" the turbolators and adding the dots had no benefit. And I'm suggesting it looks bad. Dunno what the problem is.

and did I not hear they are getting rid of the dragonfly or turbolator or something like that for these new ones? maybe I mis-read that.

With a lot of rumors of 2019 clubs ,what are you most excited for

Personally I need a driver refresh so will be looking the F9’s and new Callys

Also really interested in the rumored Callaway Stenson looking irons along with the Ping Blueprints”

Hopefully a great replacement for the Rogue fairways but with adjustable heads.

Need a new FW but am going to wait to see what they release.
