Molinari is riding the crest of a wave at the moment but it doesn't take long for that to die down and with Tiger the season essentially beginning in earnest, Molinari's achievements of last year are shortly going to be eaten up by achievements from this year. I agree that I think he has signed a deal, I just don't see what they are waiting for in announcing it.

Who knows why these companies do anything that they do? All of their marketing efforts are trying to generate max impact at the point they are announced. I'm assuming that announcing a player endorsement deal falls in line with that, as well.

 

I've been told Callaway threw a bunch of cash at him, so I'm confident the contract is a done deal and he was doing more than "testing" at the Sentry. Maybe there is some wiggle room left yet on his part, but that doesn't seem likely.
