Looks like TW is putting Sim in the bag today. That'll be good for business.
I know City is big into hot yoga. Only sweats I care about right now though are DK sweats...
And one and done. I went with Finau this week in our opening week.
idk about you guys but every time rory and tiger tee it up at the same tournament i watch the nike "Ripple" advertisement from way back and i get fired up.
Can someone please give the golf Channel a lesson in language. And why it matters. Just received their daily email, and two things in there are "off."
They say Bryson and Brooks have a "feud." Feud???? That's just banter back and forth. Good natured ribbing. Definitely not a feud. Cameron Smith-Patrick Reed...that's a feud.
And they call putting with the flag stick in "one of the biggest controversies of 2019." Again, not a controversy. A discussion, a debate, a thought provoking option that boils down to personal preference, but not a controversy.
Come on Golf Channel. Do better.
I was watching the 1986 Masters highlights the other night. I absolutely need Seve's Nike tour visor. He's got the double stacked Nike logos.
If you want a sweaty, used SSC double logo visor, it's yours next time I see you.
I do not, but thank you.
If it was Seve's sweat, I'm all in.
FABB has been referred to as the Seve of the Maryland Cup on multiple occasions, does that count? I think you are significantly underestimating the value here. Especially since he is also reigning champ.
@FAbb ill take it
your sweat will help me become a better player
I went with Rahm in the one and done. I'm kind of rooting for Bud Cauley though.
I'm certain that my sweat has zero redeeming qualities, but the visor is yours.
Don’t sell yourself short
I shook the sweaty hands of my Capitol Cup winning captain Fabb and I have never once, in my entire life, contracted Coronavirus.
That was cool
I love how when you go to most grass ranges or at a club and there is a "do this, dont do this" sign about how to make divots on the range.
Pros dont give AF about any of that. Let me dig a big hole right here.
Somebody invented a "better" rake.
Wonder how long until teeth are missing off of it.
I wouldnt mind seeing if it actually works in reality - most of the bunkers at MV has really fluffy sand.
Thought it was pretty cool to see that Morikawa is the first pro to be paired with Tiger that was born after Tiger turned pro.
The Bikram from Bikram Yoga was featured in a Netflix documentary - real b hole.
Kingsbarns had the "rakes" that are the whisk style, but they didn't have those teeth like this one has. The caddies said they are great. The sand in Scotland is infinitely better and more powdery than any sand I've played on in the states, so maybe that helps.
This is interesting. My first reaction was "nope"
I don't think of golf as a team sport and something about appearance fees doesn't sit well with me
The top golfers have already amassed generational wealth so I don't see a little more money being something that influences them much. The mid-level guys, sure
The only thing about pro golf that seems off is that there are really only about 10 events each year that the top players absolutely don't want to miss. The rest are seen as tune up events or schedule fillers or opportunities to take their family on a vacation. There are so many tournaments to choose from that the top guys often aren't all playing the same events. DJ, Brooks, JT are all out this week for example
This new tour won't work but I'm always open to the PGA Tour making changes. The FedEx Cup has been a relative success so far I think
2020 # of rounds: 11
Its definitely interesting. I really don't care what tour runs an event, PGA Tour, European Tour, the new World Golf Tour. Give me good golf, on good courses, at the best hours available for my personal tv viewing and I'm in. If this leads to more of that, good, lets get it started.

Euro Tour and LPGA on weekend mornings FTW!
Cant read the article but hasn't Greg Norman been trying to do this for 20+ years and never made it work?

For the record, I'd play golf with Pol Pot, Idi Amin, and Timothy McVeigh on a course built on [choose your offensive sacred land] for probably 1/10th of what they paid Phil to play in Saudi Arabia. I'm not hating.
I may be in the minority but I think there is already plenty of golf on tv throughout the year.
We have a "star driven global golf tour" already - its called the PGA Tour.
Maybe it's finally taking hold. It was a novel idea when he presented it, and the guys at the time didn't want to rock the boat or bite the hand that fed them. Then along comes Tiger. And more money. And 20 years later, a generation of golfers that grew up with this idea of an elite tour where you could make your year's worth of money in fewer events. Maybe the "kids" are looking to take them up on the idea.
